It's not surprising to see we are not the only people outraged by the way you have handled the closure of your wild water rapids in September. I called back in June to check whether the building of the new facilities in the pool area wouls affect the outdoor pool facilities. Just to say totally appalled by their customers service when we booked only to find out that the Rapids are closed for 6 weeks whilst undergoing maintenance! Our boys loved the Rapids and this is our 3rd time now and thinking twice before booking next year and to be honest this might be the last time as we have paid £2000 for a long weekend and that's a lot of money to save up to. So I booked months ago, a week at Centre Parcs, Longleat for us all, with family coming over from Australia. Last week I had en e mail stating the Wild Water Rapids would be closed for the duration of our stay. This ride being the highlight of free activities on offer. Have had several enjoyable breaks at Centre Parcs Longleat over the past few years, but unfortunately won't be returning after our break in September due to the awful customer service I have recently received. I was informed just over a month before my trip that the Rapids would be shut for essential maintenance - of course that's disappointing but I understand that work needs to take place to maintain standards and for health and safety. Really very disappointed that the rapids will be closed for our stay from 16th October. No compensation or opportunity to change our break offered, in fact no response at all. This is our main holiday this year and one of the main reasons we chose Center Parcs was the rapids. Find the attitude of the Guest Services deplorable, and typical of a large company that doesn't care about their customers!
Center Parcs have handled the upcoming closure of the Rapids at Longleat terribly. They're one of the main reasons we decided to go to this site, so being told they will be closed for the duration of our stay is very disappointing. What's worse is that we have been given no opportunity to change to a different site that is fully functional, or postpone or trip until the Rapids are open again. Love Centre Parcs but feel very very disappointed this week with the location of our woodland lodge, it's by a busy road of which I had no idea as it wasn't shown on the map when I chose our lodge. Guest Services can't move us, we have been asking for two days now. Feel so let down. customer service seems to have disappeared. Have been great for years but now just happy to take your money and not be bothered that your whole party is upset about the rapids and pool being closed for our stay - not allowed to change dates - no discount - not allowed to cancel - and they are not bothered. Shame on you Center parcs - your have let your standards slip.Our Autumn break will be disappointing with the rapids closed. Only found out after paying full balance #Rapidsgate.
