I recently contacted ********** for an A/C maintenance referral. I received info about ARS Rescue Rooter, among others.After researching their reviews, etc. I called them to come out for yearly routine maintenance.They told me there were so many things wrong with the unit, rusted coil, corrosion on condenser coil, rusted contactor, blower motor full of bacteria, and the wheel needed to be cleaned.I firmly believe they used pictures from someone elses unit, as the new pictures taken show that mine is pristine and the only rus... read more

Has an issue with my furnace, and I called ******************* to come look. The first tech came to look and diagnose my issue and found a faulty heat exchanger. After talking to him he explained the most cost effective way to fix the problem was to replace the part and that would run $3,500, and that a second crew would be by to take measurements. The second crew came by later in the day and revolved the quote around replacing the entire furnace and quoted me for $12,000. Obviously there is a big difference in the two price... read more

Bought an ac unit and had ARS install it through ********** 12/2021. Company never pulled permits until months AFTER installation. I only found out because I called the permit **** and they told me ARS never pulled the permit. Made ARS aware and they corrected it. Ac had a leak and ARS charged me almost $3,000.00. *** that did the leak detection didn't order the part like he said so it was delayed almost a week then it was on back order. *** came out today and worked on it. ARS Rescue Rooter price gouges.The ************* on in my HVAC system need to be replaced. I was quoted $1,927.48 to do the job. When asked, the service man said their cost was between $700 and $800 for the part. Based on this, and not knowing how much time it would take to do the work, I accepted the job. In fact it took less than an hour. After the fact I discovered I could have bought the part for the model of my HVAC from Amazon for $281.79. We have a 10-year-old AC unit that is running fine but we hadn't done routine maintenance on it for a long time so I called ARS and scheduled an "AC Tune-up" for the next day. The technician was very friendly and he kept pointing things out that were a result of our failure to do routine maintenance on the unit - such as a dirty drain and dirty coils. Over priced , did not do all that they should , did not check for gas leak after installing water heater , did not change parts that should have been , used a call center to keep making appts then not showing up , call center did not relay message to tech , call center could not find account , put us on hold 4 times

Working with an ARS Project Manager in Feb 2020 replaced an old HV** system as a ********** Project with installation by ARS. Purchased an ARS annual maintenance agreement for 2021 and 2022. On 9/4/23, contacted ARS because ** was not working. Appt was made for **** on 9/5/2023. During the initial call set up annual maintenance program. ARS called the next day stating that I did not qualify for the maintenance plan because system was purchased through **********. In fall 2022 ARS came out to check our furnace. The tech said the unit had multiple cracks in the heat exchanger and since the heat exchanger was out of warranty I needed a new HVAC system. Another company did a fall system check and said all was fine. To be safe, had a third company come out for a fall service check and they also said all was fine. I called the manufacturer and asked about the warranty. Turns out if the HE was cracked, it would have been covered by the original warranty. So the heat exchanger was fine and i... read more
