I had same day surgery. I was impressed by the service I received from check in through checkout . It was frist class and professional All the way. Thanks Birmingham VA for all you do for veteran. Once A veteran always A veteran.
No wait on this visit, excellent doctor service! Convenient parking and quick shuttle service to med center. Overall very good!
Was told to be there at 6 am didn't get into surgery until 12 left at 6 pm. I love the staff but there is no communication as to what's going on.
I use VA and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone . Have pain ? Learn to live with it . Insomniac ? Learn to live live with that also. . The VA is the the reason 22 Vets a day kill themselves . Vets have just as much right to live pain free or be able to sleep as anyone on the street .
If I didn't have to wait so long to see the doctor. Other than that, everything was great.
Had my first infusion yesterday.... Staff was very professional and courteous, couldn't have went any better
I brought my Dad in for his Surgery and everything seemed to go great. The over all temperature of the hospital was warmer than most hospitals and not cool enough, most keep them cool to keep bacteria low.
I have to say, this is the best VA Hospital I have ever been in. They go out of their way to help veterans. The staff is great and respectful and helpful. It's a very clean hospital, their shuttle service is much improved, the new parking garage is great. This is a model VA hospital.
Took 8 hrs at the er before we could leave. 86yr old man had to be there that long when he didnt feel like sitting up. Im sorry but think they could do better.
