On November 16th my husband had a Lipoma removed from his right thigh and not only did the surgeon stick himself with a needle resulting in him & my husband have to be HIV tested they only used glue to hold it together and didn’t even cover the area and since it was done under a local anesthetic he was able to return to work same day. Staff was very pleasant and concerned. Waiting time wasn't bad at all. Surgery went well and still no pain on third day.
Horrible ER waited for 7hrs and still never got seen
I would like to give a huge thank you to the staff at the Birmingham VA and especially to the ER staff. I took my 87-year-old Dad today to get an x-ray of his shoulder after he took a fall. Every single person we encountered was respectful, helpful, professional, and friendly. We were there for about 5.5 hours and not once were we ignored or treated poorly. All of the staff were great! Thank you ALL for your service and for your assistance today!
