They are NOT customer /patient centric. Poor customer service
I've been using VA B'ham for a while - I need dental work done now i have to drive 2 hours to get an okay to have the work done in Huntsville every time there is a change is this how we get treated like children? They can't take the word of a local doctor as to what work need to be done? While the ppl are friendly and helpful the interns need a little more training in "Woman's" things if you get my drift.

I couldn't ask anyone to treat me any better. The treatment I receive at the Birmingham VA is as good or better than any place, anywhere. I am so thankful for the VA.
This visit was very poor. The ENT clinic was more jab 2hrs behind schedule. And the only thing they could say is they are behind and if you want to reschedule you can. Knowing good and well the next opening for an appointment was going to be 2-3 months later if you were lucky. They didn't even provid an hospitality cart for the patients. And the tv was so dang loud you couldn't hardly hear your name. It really suck.
Very appointment there is no longer an hour start to finish. Wish we could transfer ALL his medical care to them, but we only go for Botox.
