I just had my VA health care switched from Charleston SC to Birmingham VA. What took Charleston over a week to do, took the personnel at Birmingham only an hour to do. Birmingham has much better parking than any other VA that I have gone too. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the staff here at Birmingham VA.
The staff at the Birmingham VA Hospital take excellent care of its veterans. Everyone is cordial, friendly, and inviting...and the parking is free!
I had a scheduled MRI for 630pm. When I got there no one was at the desk. Then a lady saw me after about 15 minutes from down the hall and see said I will be right back . She came down the hall with a gentleman and some food. I assume she went to break room then came to the desk. She then gave me paperwork to fill out and another gentleman that was there that came after me. She left the desk again and went toward break room. I had been completed my paper work .
