Have used VA for Service Connected and other medical treatment. Its not a private hospital and you are not treated luxuriously, but I have most always been treated kindly and with respect. Medical services received are by last year students supervised naturally. They will pursue all options many times ignoring the most obvious answer to illnesses due to learning curve and to cut expenses. I have really loved my last two doctors.
I wait over 40 mins to see the doctor and finally decided to leave. No patient should wait that long, in the room, to see their doctor. It's more worth my time to pay out of pocket to get treated outside the VA. It's bad enough I have to take a whole afternoon off work, just to not be seen. �
Wow. What a fast two days. I have spent over 14 hours at the VA hospital in Birmingham having Dr. related appointments being performed by some of the most gentle kinded doctors and technicians that I have ever met. Cassondra, you were an amazing technician. I can’t thank you near enough for the courtesy and sympathy that anyone could imagine. The service and people were very good. I don't like the traffice and conjestion in Birmingham.
I have been here 3 days the staff the nurses the doctors everybody have been fantastic treated me like I was a person not just a number is very much appreciative thank you Birmingham VA
