The wait time in pre op to be checked in was unacceptable. Though everyone was very nice they talked to each other and would walk off several times before completing the forms it took 5 hours just for them to finish with the questions. Surgery was secluded for 9:30 am they took him back 4pm. All the nurse here in my daddy Bob's floor are Superior.
Every single time I have an appointment in the 1k clinic on the first floor, I'm never seen on time. Prime example I had an appointment back in May 2017 at 130, it was aalmost 3pm, before I seen the doctor. I have a 3 hour drive and I don't like my time being wasted. No one seemed to care about my wait time. Then I had another appointment July 17, 2017 at 3pm, didn't see the doctor until 406pm. I had checked in at 237pm. Went to the pain clinic for a pain block. Got there and waiting in the waiting room for about 40 minutes past my appointment time. At that point I was told by a nurse to follow him. As we were walking down the hallway, I was informed by him that I had showed positive on my urinalysis for methadone. I informed him that I only took medication that the VA had prescribed for me and asked if he'd checked my prescribed medications to see if they present a false positive. The care was incredible, they have done amazing things with treating my pre-skin cancer issues and cut down on the major potential of reoccurence, big time.

The floors with the patients ALWAYS ALWAYS STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN. They never mop the rooms or clean the bathrooms. I almost threw up yesterday. I had to become acclimated to the stinch until my stomach settled. My husband averages about 3 hospital stays each year. This is the case EVERYTIME!
The worst treatment for a veteran I've ever had...
