So far so good! They've had excellent exchange rates compared to their competitors. Fees are lower as well. Free option for standard bank transfer (3-5 days ) is great!

I've been using remitly for more than 2 yrs i have no problem no hassle my reciepent got it in just a minute.its big help for me i never go to remittances agent.i really save gas and time.
dont go on fake promises..its been 2 weeks and my money got deducted from my US account but didnt reached my indian account. still struggling and the support team is not even responding to my emails.

I dont know about the negative comments but i just sent a remittance for free! I doubted the gift card thing but i guess i clicked on the right links and i just bought myself a new tablet with the $40 gift card! I chose walmart. U can choose target or amazon, though.
I signed up and sent $2250 back home and my family got it after 5hrs, which they advertised 10mins promise time, thats not an issue for me after that day, there was an emergency and need to send money again so i sent $3000 and i gave the transaction/reference no to my mother in law so she can pick up the money to BDO, and i got a message from remitly saying that money is now available for pick up my mother in law went to BDO and fall in line and when its her turn Remitly sent a message saying that transaction has been cancel... read more
One of the worst remittance I ever encounter. 10 mins money remittance turn to 2 hours and still waiting. On top of that funds been deducted on my account and recipients didn't receive it yet! Hoping that money will be transferred today! My family really needed it!
