Awful customer service. It is not a ********************** plan but more of a bait and switch racket. My dog just passed away and it took me all day to get in contact with someone to cancel the plan. I was then told that I would need to continue paying the plan for another 8 months in order to pay for services rendered. Do not use the Ban-field wellness plan. it does not save you money it just commits you to costs whether you need them or not. Go to your local vet where the costs are fair and upfront.

I had the wellness plan for over four years and then my pet died and I was told that I had to pay out the plan because I had used in the last 12 months. That meant that I had to pay for four months after my dog had died. Banfield was aware of my dog's death because they cremated her!!! It is unbelievable to pay for something when your dog has died, let alone you have been a faithful customer for FOUR years. Do not use Banfield Hospital for anything. I brought my female dog and one of her pups in just to get shots. The front desk lady who use trick words in our conversations to sign me up for a Wellness Program that I did not need or request. Once I came back to pick my pets up she begin to talk to me about the savings I just saved and I was like what are you talking about? She stated all the work that was done for my 2 fur babies would have cost me an arm and a leg. I was like NO! I didnt bring them here for nothing but shots. ... read more

10 out of 10 do NOT recommend. Went to the *************************** location because it was closest to where I lived. Had no issues other than the manager, ******, never spoke to me in the most pleasant way. Didnt take it personal, I didnt say anything, I had never been talked to About anything. Their customer service section is actually the worst. You better try and cancel your plan ******* days before you really want to because they will make you go round and round and round and round and round when all you want to do is just CANCEL YOUR PLAN before it renews. Flat out ridiculous

My dog had an emergency on Monday at 12:30 pm. I took her to the Banfield on 117 *** and ****** and they would not even see her because they said they had other appointments. I have been a member of the wellness plan for 12 years and paid countless expenses not covered on their premium plan and they referred me an emergency clinic when they had to do was examine her paw. I willl cancel my membership and never again use or recommend Banfield to anyone. They are horrible and lack compassion and basic kindness!!

Cutomer StefneG I have been using Banfield since I got my dog at 1 year old, he is now 8.5 yrs old. today i went in for a routine visit but my dog was sick. They did not want to renew my plan, because its a new policy that when a pet is sick you have to bring them back when they are well, so i guess the plan only works when the pet is well. Would not recommend Banfield to anyone! They cant keep ***************** lack of compassion when you loose your pet & try to cancel your plan is ridiculous! They expect you to continue paying your account even after your pet has died & no longer need their services. My dog passed with 4 months left on the plan, I feel sorry for those that have 11 months left & are forced to keep paying! Totally unsatisfactory, Banfield is all about the money, not whats best for ********** pet!

I have been a loyal customer for over 14 years and Ive never hated a corporation more than I hate Banfield.At the end of the day, all they want is their money.
