This *******, ** facility and their Banfield Hospital health care plan is good in theory for healthy pets and if you do not need their services in any kind of hurry, such as with a sick animal. They certainly are not a "hospital"in the true sense and that is very misleading. After being treated for a kidney infection back in September, my sweet dog was still having issues. I took her in for ************* in February. A week goes by & no news, so I called & was very rudely told "We'll call you when results come in!" Their plans are a total rip off! If I could give then a zero..I would..you end up taking your pet to a better CHEAPER vet because 90 percent of the things that go wrong, aren't covered..don't go there!

Im November, my dog, who was on an Optimum Wellness plan passed away. I cancelled my plan, but the company informed me that I still needed to complete two more payments. Im ******** my debit card on file for autopay had expired and I didnt realize the payment never went through for $55.36. I never received a phone call, email or anything in the mail about this unpaid bill. Last week, I received a bill from a collections agency for the amount stated above. The wellness plan is a scam. It's unbelievable how Banfield gets away with scamming so many people. For a whole year I have been making monthly payments for a dead cat! And my 3 year old cat died due to their negligence! When I tried to cancel my cat's plan after she died, customer service gave their "apologies" but said the contract is binding despite my cat dying under their care. It's so corrupt and heartless.I will never bring a pet to any Banfield ever again.

Our furbaby, **********, was under a Banfield Wellness Plan for just over a year, beginning in 2021. He died suddenly in June 2022, and I reached out to Banfield to cancel the policy. Conversations with customer service reps were futile. Compassion was non-existent. The $56+ monthly fees continued for the next eight months and, $400+ later, we are free from the money pit. My dog has been with Banfield for about 10 years. She is 14 now. She gets her teeth cleaned every year. She hates going there, she cowers and cries and refuses to go in, it is an ordeal to get her into the back, she is scared to death. She has dental issues and has to have her teeth cleaned.
