This business has been charging with a call repurposing fees, as if a person is writing a check. And the most interesting thing is that they claimed that there were no funds when they were funds available. I was told that a recent visit that my account was going to be reduced to $45 from 54 because I had a dental plan and this month I was charged $64 and told it was because it was a repurposing fee. *** tried multiple times to have that corrected and cancel this account and there is no way to contact anyone. Banfield Pet Hospital is a scam. They told me I could cancel anytime but failed to inform me that if I chose to cancel I would owe an absurd amount of money. They claim that their services outside of their plans are 6 times higher than any vet charges in my area. They give your dog a full medical work up at the beginning of the plan. You have no choice in this exam. If you attempt to cancel after that you will be charged over $700 for services that are standardly no more than $150. I live am hour from here its the only place that was doing spays close enough, my dog is about 6 months pit mix, 60lbs. My SO drove her there and when je got there they turned her away for being over 30 pounds, they said they called when they went to confirm the appointment. Never got a call. But why would they waste my time and thiers by making the appointment knowing she was over 30lbs.

The worst animal care ever, They treat your animal like you're going through a drive through food line. They do not educate you on the wellness of your animal. Never recommend anyone to trust this vet..

This chain of pet hospitals, along with their pet insurance, is a scam. Appointments for your pet are schedule out to around a month and they will cancel on you the day before. They will then automatically schedule you on days you never agreed to to "make accommodations". My dog has not been seen for more than a year despite having insurance due to these dishonest tactics.

It is 100% an absolute scam!! They tell you when you start your "wellness" plan that you are paying a certain amount per month and getting all of these services included in the plan when in fact you aren't getting any sort of discount. You are just not paying everything upfront. They tally up everything your pet has ever got/needed and charge you a little bit upfront and then keep your total amount for when you try to cancel your plan. I was dumb enough to buy the optimum wellness plan for my new puppy. While it does have some benefits, the bad far outweigh any of them. *** had several bad experiences there, but Ill only speak of the one today. This morning, while leaving a hotel room, the door slammed on my dogs tail. Of course he immediately began to scream in pain and try to get out. Never take your pet to the banfield clinic in Monroe Petsmart. The lady at the front desk was incredibly rude to us and said she is the lead in charge. We'll they took noodles to the back in his carrier and brought him back in his carrier. Well we checked out and walking to the front to leave and they didn't put his carrier back together right and it came unhooked from the top noodles dropped and slung across the floor.
