Stop!!! Dont do it! It sounds like a good deal but its not and once you sign on the dotted line your in for the whole year of payment regardless of what they promise and dont deliver! Ive been with them for 14 years and it was fine until my animal actually had a problem they misdiagnosed an enlarged heart for congestive heart failure and wouldnt give my dog the dental service I paid for. If I could give zero stars I would. Banfield has changed from a pet loving organization to that of pure cross sell of services pets do not need, as well as they do not honor their Wellness Plan terms. We had an appointment scheduled a month in advance for shots for our pets. When we arrived, the vet was "temporarily closed". ** other words, they had no vets. I tried canceling my Banfield Optimum Wellness Plan I have had on my *********************** for years. They will not let me cancel and not be charged anything else. They have ridiculous fees you pay if you cancel before plan expires. This is fraud! I will never deal with Banfield again once this plan is cancelled.

Impossible to cancel plan which we haven't used in years.
My dogs have been om plan for 10 to 12 years. At first it was great, then it wasn't. After covid horrible hours and appt times This morning my dog had an issue getting up. Called they said they were to busy We'd have to wait til tomorrow. Ended up at emergency vet *** had to put her to sleep as she was bleeding out.Called banfield ans they told me I still have to pay for 8 mos Of a plan for my now deceased pet because we came in for our comprehensive visit This is bs paying 8 mos at ***** for a deceased dog. Meg * 05/15/2023 1. Overcharge for Wellness Plan: I never acquiesced to getting the higher level Wellness Plan. The monthly price went from $65 to $83 without my consent. That really angered me. I had read about complaints and lawsuits that Banfields Wellness Plan was not cost effective. I never signed a contract nor was I notified that the price would change. This company if you can call it that will not respond to complaints, and even try to Collect money from people who did not even sign a contract with them,they take a creidt card put it on file then when they have problems processing it they don't let anyone know and send to collections. Stay as far away from them as you can they over priced and under perform. You call ************** to speak to management they say no and hang the phone up on you.
