The hospital was good, but the WELLNESS PLAN is a bit of a RIP-OFF. We had the plan for several years, and thought it was reasonable. But WHEN OUR DIED, Banfield REFUSED TO CANCEL THE PLAN. They claimed we had used $300 in services that we had not yet paid for. Keep in mind, we paid for this plan for about a decade. And when when our dog died, we paid Banfield over $500 for euthanasia and cremation. They refused to count that against the $300 they claimed we owed them. Banfield hospital has mutilated my dog's ear in an attempt to fix a condition, but I'm still having a problem. They charge for a plan, but do NOT demonstrate the ability to handle and treat my dogs. Now they claim they cannot sedate my pet, so I get my bill, but no treatment.

I currently have a wellness plan that includes spaying my 6 month old pup. Took my pup for spaying and this is when their neglect came to the forefront. About a week ago I completed my pup comprehensive exam (1 week prior to spaying). At drop off the front desk informed the cone and painkillers were for additional cost even though my package included spaying and those were not optional. Both my dogs passed and Banfield is still charging me on wellness plan. They said I couldnt cancel because i didnt pay a full year. This was in august and its now june.

Let me start by saying, they get one star from me just because ************ is the best human and vet we have had.If I'm just giving stars based off of customer service, and buisness practices, I wish I could give zero stars....or even negative stars. Now bare with me because this is a doozy and its going to be long.We have been with the vet for over 6 years. My dog died April 3 and Banfield is forcing me to continue paying $57 a month for ************** plan for 7 more months hundreds more dollars I feel they are UNETHICAL AND ROBBING ME I was a good loyal customer and THIS is how they repay me!!!??

BANDIELD HAS BEEN SCAMMING ME AND LIEING TO ME TO PAY EXTRA EXPENSES THAT ARE UNNECESSARY FOR BOTH MY PETS. THEY TALKED ME INTO SIGNING UP BOTH MY PUPS FOR THEIR WELLNESS PLAN WHICH IS COSTING ME 75 A MONTH FOR BOTH PETS TELLING ME THAT I WOULD BE SAVING MONEY IN THE LONG RUN FOR THINGS MY PET WOULD NEED FOR HEALTHCARE THEY DID NOT EXPLAIN THAT IT WAS A YEAR LONG CONTRACT WHEN I SIGNED UP. I do not recommend Banfield. If your pet is sick take him somewhere else. Their doctors and their resources are extremely limited. Took my Yorkie on Monday they ran some test did x r rays $600 later he left with all sorts of medicines and was diagnosed with gum disease!!!! Well my dog has spent the last 2 days in the hospital with possible kidney failure, was diagnosed with addisons, low heart rate and low body temperature. The only reason they get one star is because 0 is not available. It very very sad that they dont care ... read more

We had to take my beat friend in for a teeth cleaning. They called my wife and was very pusshy about "removing a dead tooth for his health". They quoted me 800$. I have taken him else were to hopefully save a bit of money because 800 is a bit much. Turns out there is no "dead tooth" he has nothing wrong with any of his teeth. This company was going to rip a totally good tooth out of his mouth for greed. I know if they tried it with me. They are doing this to other as well. Please don't take your animals there.
