I recently placed an appliance order with Home Depot. I had received a coupon from them for an additional 10% off of my order. This did not list in the terms that it excluded sale items or appliances. Nor did it list that I could not mix an order with payment of gift cards and my HD credit card. Theyre pretty good until theyre not. We are renovating a house just a couple of miles from the local Home Depot in *******, ** and have purchased about $10,000.00 worth of merchandise so far. We purchased a tub/shower combo but when the contractor opened it, the tub was damaged. We purchased new double front doors for our home in at the end of March 2023. They were finally installed July 11, 2023. They looked great but the caulking job on the outside frame looked like an amateur did it. I was told I should have ordered custom doors. I decided to purchase tile for my kitchen. I bought 7 packages of tile. It was all the store had on the shelf. I then decided I needed more to complete my project. I had HOME DEPOT IN HOME SERVICES replace my slider door and it does not close properly. I had two representatives come and look at it and said theres nothing they can do to fix it. You can clearly see from the weather stripping where the door hits Not one put a level on the door to see if its level and plumb. I made an order for $3,800 cash to this store and let me walk you through the type of service youll get. I paid for delivery of my appliances and was confirmed I would get a delivery window the day before and the day of delivery. Guess what? NO CALL or text with a delivery window. Naturally the delivery was missed. I called to reschedule and provided my order number and the soonest they could accommodate was 3 days. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I purchased a washer and dryer from them on September 24, 2023. They told me it would be delivered the following Friday, September 29th. I was sent a text the day before delivery saying they would deliver between 1:00 and 5:00 pm. The next day I got another text saying it was out for delivery and I had 6 deliveries ahead of me.
