Home Depot is run by total morons. I got a bill from them for things I didn't buy and when I phoned to complain, (I think they did it on purpose) I was transferred from number to number to number with everyone saying the same thing: "that is not my responsibility, let me connect you with someone else, and on and on and on. Being put on hold time after time after time. Who in the h*** can you talk to? I'm so annoyed at companies installing computers to answer their phones and hiring foreigners who have such strong accents you... read more

I purchased a front loading ** washer and dryer. I waited 2 weeks for delivery (2nd of the month). The washer/dryer was delivered and installed on the promised date. The delivery guy told me he could not hook up the dryer because it needed an adapter for the vent. "Go to Home Depot". So off I went to Home Depot. No one knew what I was talking about. On 7/7/22 my chest freezer in the garage died and I lost all the food in it. I ordered a Frigidaire freezer to replace it on 7/18/22 from Home Depot. The new one arrived on Friday 8/12/22. I placed a frozen bottle of water inside to make sure it was freezing before I put food inside. After a few days I saw it was not freezing, powers on, lights on. I and my wife decided to install a security door. Placed an online order for $600+ of kitchen cabinets. Home Depot withdrew money from my checking account. I received an email indicating I could pick up my cabinets with curbside service. Went to pick them up and received an email stating they cancelled my order - due to lack of availability. I then went into the store and the cabinets were physically on the shelves, and then I was told I could buy the cabinets again, and wait for the original purchase price to be refunded at a later time. We purchased a refrigerator and they delivered it to us but it is a faulty refrigerator. Its not working we called back to have another one delivered out or get our money back and they refused. They said it would take another three weeks before they could get another one out.

I ordered a replacement dishwasher for one that we bought not even a year old, and when the new dishwasher came, the installation team took out the old one before taking the new one off the truck and checking it out to make sure it wasnt damaged. My wife was nice enough and told them that they didnt have to take the old one back off the truck and reinstall it since they told her it would be a quick turnaround for a new one to be delivered. To make a very long story short, I purchased an appliance from Home Depot. It malfunction and caused damage to my home. Instead of helping me the managers at the store told me I was the problem. Further, when I called corporate to complain I was passed off to several different "representatives." Who said "we'll get this fixed" then ignored my calls.
