I made an online order at the HD location near my work. I live 30 mins away and was on a tight time frame because I needed to pickup my daughter from daycare right when I got off work, hence why I placed an online pickup order. I needed 8 u posts and some zip ties for mounting some outdoor event signs. I needed them shipped out to a branch of the business located about 6 hours from where I'm based. The business is ag, so most of our locations are somewhat remote and delivery options that would arrive within my time frame were minimal (even amazon couldn't get it there in time). It's been 8 months now and my siding project is still not finished. They refuse to give the money back for the things not completed they only offer a warranty that takes forever or I can get 2 estimates to send to them that they may or may not approve. This slop job had been a nightmare

Bought Samsung washer and dryer from Home Depot in 2016. Had the repair guys out 5 times in the first year. The machines have never worked right from day one. We bought the five year warranty which I am again needing to use as the dryer has died. Now the fun starts. I bought a washer 10 and a half months ago and it has quit working. I have been in contact with Home Depot and GE for about a month waiting on a repair person to call and arrange for the repair but have yet to get the call. I am now been phoning everyday and being told that I should receive a call by the end of the day but never do. I ordered 30 fence post clamps and only received one in the box. After calling Home depot the lady told me that when they shipped the box it weighted correctly so the shipping company must have repackaged the box and my problem would be with the shipping company not them. So I had a door frame I needed replaced and went in to the Home Depot to see if they could do the job. First off, the lady in charge of the door section wasn't there (and in multiple later visits she was never there. she doesn't seem to ever be at work and her coworkers can't ever find her!). I purchased a new wash machine a week ago from Home Depot it was supposed to be delivered today between 11am - 3pm today I get a call today at 1pm from there delivery that there delivery team quit and they would not deliver for another week this is unacceptable I called Home depot and they called them nothing changed about getting the order as promised???? If you are looking for great customer service on flooring and install stay clear from THD. Untrained staff that cannot operate flooring software, false promises, lack of communication, managers who treat customers' grave concerns as non emergent. Sub-contractors who have zero customer service skills and run the equivalent of a flooring sweatshop.
