I too think one star is too high of a rating for the special order departments at the Home depot stores everywhere since their policy is the same. This is the worst company I have ever bought an online product from. I ordered a washer and dryer from HD a week and a half ago. I was supposed to get my appliances this past Saturday (1 week since order), however, the 3rd party delivery service decided to skip out on my house as I was the 13th and final delivery of the day. So, how did HD "make it right?" They didn't. They offered to make me wait another week instead of making sure I got my delivery early in the week. Terrible customer service. Wouldn't let us return mum's with the label still on it. Dead after a week. Had to go all the way home to get a receipt. Workers dont even know the policy. One told us to go ahead and get the replacement. So we did, then they changed their story. Terrible customer service

There is not a rating low enough so I have to give it one star. I scheduled a delivery of 30 bags of garden stones for a project I had planned for Saturday 9/20/2019 at the Ozone Park, NY location. I paid an additional fee of $20 to get a 4 hour delivery window (6:00AM - 10:00AM). Come 10:09AM no call no show. I called customer care, Dana first told me the delivery was attempted. I ordered a range and it as supposed to be here today 9/20. Never heard from anyone so I called to see when someone would arrive and they said it still hasn't left GE warehouse and it would not get to them till next week and they couldn't deliver to me till October 4th. Terrible customer service. They improperly installed a new door and its been 3 months without resolution. They refuse to return calls and have zero interest in the customer.
I went in the Marble Falls location and lost $20.00 in the self checkout machine. Naturally the girl who is suppose to be watching and helping was talking to a boy and did not believe me when I told her the machine just ate my $20.00! So it was only natural that the manager would side with her. I will NEVER shop at another Home Depot and will advise others not to shop there!!! I went to ****** and got what I needed, thanks ******.
Homedepot is a scam, no kidding. I will never purchase a single item from their store or online ever again.
