Be very careful buying kitchen appliances from Home Depot. All Home Depot does is create a drop ship order with GE. GE uses a third party delivery company to deliver the appliance. The delivery company refused to wait until I plugged in the range to make sure it worked, and Home Depot does not allow returns on major appliances. HD blamed GE and GE blamed HD. I had no option but to refuse the delivery. BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased almost $700 of cordless tools online from homedepot.com. When I received the box from them the cordless impact wrench was missing which was $266 on it's own. The box that everything came in was open and i have pictures from my Ring Doorbell showing that they had packaged $700 in tools in a box with 1 piece of tape. it is evident by the pictures from my door that the box is open when UPS dropped it off. i called Home Depot to complain and they referred me to making the claim with my credit card company. Ridiculous. Horrible treatment by home depot Palm Coast. Purchased 5 windows in 2018 and arranged through Home Depot to have them installed. The required building permit was obtained by anHome Depot Contractor. The windows failed the building inspection. They never came back to correct the issues found by the building inspector. That original permit was allowed to expire as well as another permit they obtained for the same windows. Now we are on the third permit. I paid Home Depot to install a storm door and since it catches on the bottom when opening, they want to charge me an additional $400(+) to re-install the same door AFTER I have already paid them $125.00! My $200.00 storm door and install is now up to $600 (+). They are now offering to refund the price of the door $107.00 but not fix the problem! HIRE SOMEONE ELSE TO INSTALL YOUR DOORS!

Home Depot sells extended warranties with its appliances. Asurion services the warranties. I bought an LG refrigerator with a five-year extended warranty in 2017. The ice maker stopped working in early August of this year. I spent hundreds of hours waiting for "certified" technicians that either never showed, or failed to repair the unit. Horrible experience. Bought a special order door in May. It's now Mid October and the HOme Depot vendor (Masonite) has sent three doors that have been 1) wrong size 2) damaged 3) had hinges and was not specified to have - meant to be cut onsite. Home Depot had no issue cashing my check but has been no help in addressing this issue with their vendor, and has not been helpful in expediting a refund or ensuring the door is correct. The only thing Home Depot did right with our hardwood floor order was the selection. NEVER EVER buy a floor from Home Depot. They will send an incompetent crew- come into your home, destroy it, leave, and never fix it. Absolutely horrible experience that's cost us way way way more than planned.

I went to Home Depot today to get a piece of white vinyl lattice for a project I am doing to block off an area on my patio since there is now a monster house behind me that literally can see everything. Well I needed it cut in half not only to fit in my car but also because it's the size I need. They refused! They said they never do it and will not do it.
