Store offered and even pushed me to get a HD Credit Card so that items could be returned for up to 1 Year. Then claimed it knew nothing about it after 6 months. Guess we'll switch back to ***** with the "MY *****" 1-year guarantee!

The workers and manager are very helpful. The card companys they use are a bunch of money hungry with fees. Neaver take out any card the store can not help you if there is a problem with card this also is the home depot one.

Our 14 years old refrigerator's freezer stopped working that week between Sept 15-20 2019. New refrigerator was ordered online & delivery on Sept 21, 2019. I was told that new refrigerator would be delivered to the house on Tues Oct 1, 2019 but changed the date to Fri Oct 25, 2019 because of back order. I bought a dishwasher from Cortez Ave In Bradenton Home Depot . It was delivered on October 1 and was going to be installed on October 2. The dishwasher did not fit the space . Home Depot refused to exchange it for a more expensive model and refused to give me my old dishwasher back, I am stuck with a big whole between my cabinets and a 400 dollar dishwasher that does not fit. Here is my Home Depot - Romanoff shower replacement experience: HD insists all homeowners be present. This is simply to avoid an absent spouse from wanting out. Two, they offer discount signing bonus if signed that day. This is to avoid competition. Three, HD insists on 100% payment upfront (California max is 10%) leaving the customer with no leverage! Terrible experience!! Awful service. I recently purchased a $3800 three panel patio door. I received awful service from that moment on. Nick, the salesperson in doors told me he would follow up the following day regarding the 0% interest rate, as I financed the door on a home depot card. He never followed up with me, so I had to reach out & try to get to the bottom of it. I bought a steel wire for picture hanging, and it was the wrong one. When I went to do an exchange, I was told they have to refund the money and buy the product. This is fine for $4 purchases, but what if I have a $1000 item and I needed a different one? Do I have to wait 2-3 for it to post on my credit card? What if my credit limit is only $1000? There needs to be an exchange system where you can just pay the difference for the new item.
