The installers hired to do a simple dishwasher job by Home Depot are TERRIBLE, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and honestly, I don't think they are qualified. I have had 2 dishwashers in my home, NEVER had a problem until this one. The installer said he couldn't get the DW out because it would scratch the floor. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE w/ Homedepot!! Ordered a refrigerator online, delivery date got switched to a date, without informing me. Could not work out a delivery date until the next month. Please inform all customers that Home Depot 11% Rebate Match is NOT the same as *******. If you receive any discount from HD on your products you will be disqualified for the rebate. ******* will give you a rebate on your total purchases within the rebate dates. I sent in several rebates, called because I had not received rebates and was told they no longer will give me the rebate on discounted items. Went to purchase a tool Kit at my local Home Depot today and it was a 10% promotion of a purchase $299 or more when using your Home Depot credit card so I go to the register scan my tool scan my barcode on my discount then had a Home Depot gift card for $28 that I wanted to use along with my Home Depot credit card but nobody in the store was able to make the register except my gift card. Home Depot Customer Service is the worst. A representative placed an order over the phone with me and sent my order to the incorrect address. Trying to resolve issue with Home Depot is so USELESS they do not provide any assistance! They only refer you to your bank and make you waste a lot of time for nothing. It's the worst they have definitely lost a customer.
Do not purchase the protection plan from Home Depot!!! I purchase a GE cooktop from Homedepot in November 2017. I also purchase a 5-year protection plan for $75, which they outsource to Asurion to cover it. One year later, the glass break and they refuse to cover it. They said that the plan only covers the mechanical issues. They said it was stated in the contract. It was not. There is absolutely no mentioning of the plan only covers mechanical issues. They are worst company and have the worst customer service ive worked with in my entire life. They are very rude and i was very patient with my concern. I never received the package and i adhere to what they said that i need to call the carrier. When i called the carrier they refer me back to home depot so that they can file the complaint and get my money back. We typically love Home Depot for all of our home improvement needs so when our dishwasher gave out, we turned to them to purchase a new one. What a huge mistake. We purchased a dishwasher from HD in late August, it was delivered and installed at the beginning of September. First I noticed that the dishwasher was sitting very crooked where the bottom was recessed well into my cabinet and the top was sticking out a good 3 inches from the cabinet.
