My daughter and her husband order a fridge from Home Depot in Rochester, MN and it was suppose to be delivered on 12/18/19. They purchased it on 12/08/19 and decided 10 days using a mini fridge with 3 adults and 3 small children will be fine. The delivery were 1 hour later than planned with no notice. Contracted with Home Depot to have carpets installed in 3 rooms. I took the day off and cleared the rooms in preparation for the install. Still much work is required by the homeowner even though they offer furniture movement. They were supposed to arrive at 8:00 AM but called at 9:00 AM to say the carpet had not yet been received. What an organization! I am a regular customer of store #**** in Canton, OH and also at Lowe's nearby. When Lowe's offered 50% off on their live Christmas trees but had no inventory of #2 size potted trees I called THD to see if they would match the deal today. The garden center manager Sarah told me to come in and she would take care of me. I picked out a pair of trees, went to the customer service area and cashier April said "Merry Christmas!" and gave me the trees at no charge. I purchased premium (Simonton) windows from Home Depot. The sales rep was a nice old timer who explained the stringent installation process included with my purchase due to the fact that I live on the coast. I agreed to purchase 9 windows which would re-do my entire small house at our initial sales meeting in late summer 2019. I was told that the windows would be installed by Oct 15 at the latest. Purchased a Dewalt miter saw/stand combo on black Friday plus a Husky tool box. First the messed up and gave me the wrong tool box and told me they had to order the saw and stand. The tool box was supposed to come with the light and a work bench, the one they sold me did not come with it. I ordered a Frint door with sidelights back in September of 2019 from The Home Depot in Concord Township, Glen Mills, PA. I waited for my door to come in for 8 weeks. As a long time customer of Home Depot I am sad to say the level of customer service has declined significantly in recent years culminating in a totally unacceptable experience yesterday. Ordered a refrigerator on Nov 2, 2019...could not be delivered within the few days we had in Milton due to eldercare responsibilities in Atlanta. Agreed to a December 11 delivery.
