The Home Depot in Roseville will not return an item I brought in I got it for Christmas and just wanted to exchange it for something that was actually more expensive they made me feel like a criminal said I didn't have a receipt and I gave my license and they refused my return and put me on a list never been treated so horrible

Your company should be ashamed!! Lured me into buying a kitchen set in November. Promised delivery December 16th so we could have them for the holidays. I took off from work & prepped our kitchen for delivery and you canceled. New date January 15th . I took off from work again & prepped our kitchen and you canceled again. I canceled our order. That is a terrible practice and will be spreading this situation to everyone I know including social media. HORRIBLE!!!

If buying large appliances from Home Depot be prepared to wait much longer than told for delivery and when the delivery is made be prepared for being given a difficult time by the delivery persons! I would never buy another major appliance from Home Depot. They are not community based or they would hire local delivery people who are competent and can deliver at the consumer's convenience. I purchased an electric steam dryer to replace the gas version I had. I already had the matching washer and pedestal. The Home Depot delivery driver refused to install the dryer, although I had paid for installation (by buying $50 worth of parts that they required me to purchase for installation), because I already had a washer and the pedestal was 2 years old. I had called several Home Depot's in my area looking for replacement windows. I was told they did not have them or had to be custom built and it would take several weeks to get them in. Finally called Home Depot in Franklin Tennessee. I spoke with Clair she was great. She took my Home Depot card number on the phone, so when I got to Franklin about 60 miles away she had them waiting on me paid in full. Took all of 10 min to get them and load them. Bad location at least. Tried to charge me almost $200 more for carpet installation than Kellie's because they were trying to forced me to buy a bunch of extra carpet I didn't need. And that's $200 extra with free installation. Total scam!
We purchased a whirlpool refrigerator in November and was delivered on November 27th. As senior citizens this has been a nightmare. It was delivered, damaged with a warped door. Couldn't do anything because Thanksgiving was the next day. Called store on Black Friday to complain. Sent two people out 5 days later who told me to get a wood n mallet and pound door to correct situation. Called store to report this. They said they had no record of this service call. I got a really good deal on my washer and dryer from Home Depot. I felt really lucky with the find and the staff was very kind and friendly, making the entire process easy. I would highly recommend this home depot. ***************************************************
A roof was installed in 5/03 including skylights. I understand that the Home Depot no longer installs roofs, but they gave me a phone # for a Triage unit that could help. The unit is supposed to be open from 9am-6pmEst M-F. However no one was picking up the phone and the recording is saying they are closed and gives the same hours as above.
