I ordered a gas range online from Home Depot on 12/14/2019. I picked the delivery date of 12/20 so that I would have it by Christmas. I was initially told that the delivery would in the afternoon. I made arrangements to be at work until noon on the day of the delivery. The day before the delivery I get the notification that the delivery will be between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. on 11/29/19, my vehicle was damaged at a home depot store at 1220 Route 300 Newburg, NY XXXXX. I was purchasing carpet installation with a consultant. I returned to my car approx at 1:45 PM to find the damages. Upon my return, there was no vehicle to the right of me where damages occurred. I have 2 roof installations by Home Depot. They no longer install roofs but have a 3rd Party Company taking care of any warranty work. My first roof ($12k) has been leaking in 2 different areas! And this install was back in late 2015 which took 7 months to complete! I haven't been able to get the warranty company to come to my house for inspection or repair since June of this year. I bought a ceiling fan a couple of weeks ago and my credit card statement showed a discrepancy from what the charge including state sales tax was originally. Turns out I was charged local sales tax after the fact on the purchase. Illinois, where I live, has passed a regulation requiring online sellers now to also assess local sales, but it was not to go into effect until the start of the new year 2020. If I could give a zero I would.Do NOT EVER purchase a carpet from Home depot. What they show you on display and what you pay for will be VERY different from what you actually receive when install time comes. So the first time they came - wrong quality carpet - much cheaper than what we paid for. Guess what - second time - SAME THING! And now we have to sit and wait for them to deal with the subcontractor that ships the carpet. The store Manager Gina has been rude and done absolutely NOTHING to make this right for us. Never expected this terrible service from Home Depot, I ordered a $3500 appliance package, the delivery was first scheduled November 30th 2019, they then rescheduled to 12/7/2019, then 12/21, and after waiting all afternoon 3-7 pm apt, I called to find they now want to push out to 12/26 - the rep also lied and said I was called. I plan on filing a BBB complaint because I find this to be totally unacceptable. ****
I would give them no stars if I could. My sister got me a gas stove for Christmas and had them deliver it to my home and they were suppose to dispose of the old one for me but they didn't. The delivery guys told me it is because my stove was dirty and I would have to scrub the oil and grease from the stove for them to come back and pick it up. We purchased a new Kitchen Aid dishwasher from Home Depot on Nov. 30, 2019 to be installed on Dec. 7, 2019. The sub-contractor ({Pillar Logistics) who installed the dishwasher was 4 hours late for the install and then proceeded to turn the dishwasher upside down to connect the hoses and electrical thereby causing residual water to pour out and leak into the touchpad controls and motherboard which caused corrosion and ruined them.
