Lord I'm going to sound like a "Karen" here but with the exception of the person I've worked directly with on the kitchen design team and cabinet delivery guys the experience I've had trying to get my kitchen remodel started has been ridiculous. The 2 stars is generous and really only for the kitchen design team who outside of this would get 5stars. Not happy. Opened a home deport card last year with a promotion of zero interest for 6 months and $100 credit if spending $1,000 or more. I qualified for a grand limit so I got a new washer and dryer and split my payment up between my credit card and put the rest in a gift card I bought. I made the purchase over the phone and told the person to put 1g on my credit card so I could get the 100 off. Apperently they only put $999.77. Making me 23c short for the promotion. Yes my name is ****** me and my wife were redoing our kitchen so we started shopping at your hammond LA store my wife went off looking at range and Refrigerators when one of your employees started verbally assaulting her about her figure( how her husband wasn't doing sexual things right to her) after I confronted your employee about this he gets angry and walks off talking under his breath racist comments (you white people always trying to start s*** etc when I asked him to repeat himself my wife grabbed my arm and pulled me... read more

I wish I had seen these reviews before I trusted Home Depot to be an honorable online retailer. Maybe this information will help others avoid the aggravation and frustration of being stuck with inferior merchandise and being told by Home Depot customer disservice that it was my problem and there was nothing they could do. I asked them to escalate my call to their escalation team and I waited 25 minutes before realizing I had been hung out to dry. In November of 2019 We purchased a Refrigerator ************** from Home Depot The delivery people were supposed to reverse the door swing - they claimed they needed parts and couldn't do it (after they were 5 hours late - we waited 8 hours!) on Nov 18 By the time HD's people came, 5/22, we were out of Whirlpool's warranty and the door cannot be reversed due to a manufacturer's defect Home depot will not respond Whirlpool has sent us 2 doors and 2 more refrigerators - all with the same defect. I am a veteran and I paid over 3000 dollars for appliances at the Home Depot on beechmont. Set up my delivery date took off work to wait all day for them to have my house skipped by the delivery guys. I called the call center and no one could get ahold of the delivery guys for the next two and a half hours. Then I called the store manager and was told that he would call me back and it took so long that I drove up to the store and the store manager did not have anything else to do for me. Home Depot has treated my like discarded trash in a dumpster. First of all, they don't ever answer the phone. Second, they never call you back when they say they are going to call you back. Third, even their executive team ignores you. 1 month to get an item delivered because they forgot to call me. Then when I call to complain about it, they never call me back to hear the complaint. I have all the text messages, IG messages, and Twitter messages from the Home Depot team to show anyone how Home Depot has treated me.

I purchased carpet from Home Depot. They sent a guy out to measure and after installation I have a Huge amount of carpet left over. I understand having a little, but there is a lot of waste. I had to pay for an excessive amount of material that was not needed and the measure and Home Depot knew it. They were concerned with making money by any means necessary and taking advantage of the consumer.

I waited two weeks for a delivery that arrived missing parts. When I called I was treated rudely and then was told I would have to wait another four weeks for the missing parts to be shipped to me. I ordered a night stand and it didn't have the tracks for the drawers. So i can't use the item and still can't for another month. This is now going to be two months. Rediculous. The home depot is in London Ontario.
