My husband and I recently received some misinformation about buying a new range from a well-meaning employee at a physical Home Depot location. One of the things she told us was that our experience would be the same if we ordered online v. ordering from the professionals in the store (the appliances department was closing for the day when we got there). During christmas time i had purchased a HVAC tune up from Home depot that they were running special for 19$.. It was too good to be true as its usually expensive. Well it was money down the toilet drain as they did nothing but to come and try to get you into fixing something.. there is no tune up. Tune up company ARS rooter. I wasted 81$ and an hour 1/2 of my time. In which paperwork took 30/40 min as he had to navigate through iPad app that wad pretty crazy... Home Depot ? Better than nothing, but not by much. I'm in New Jersey, Got into a bait and switch scam at the cash register with the Fortiva Credit Card, NOT the Home Depot Credit Card. It's a Nightmare, have stopped making payments until I get a complete accounting of the terms and where my payments are going, IF you have the Fortiva Credit Card you know exactly what I'm talking about without going into the gory details.......**** C.

This is regarding the store in Manassas, Va, in steamwalk ln. What LAZY, UNHELPFUL, UNKNOWLEDGABLE staff! My goodness, I had the worst customer service experience ever. I made an order for $100 worth of product as an online pickup, as the items were HEAVY and thought this would make it easier on me. Welp, two items were broken as I loaded my items into the car, so I went inside to alert the staff - they let me know I can go get the new items MYSELF for exchange. THD Multi-Position Zero Gravity Lounge Chair Model # JCA-OXSS-R On the weekend of the 24th of August, 2019 I was out camping with friends who had the above-mentioned chair. When reclining back for the first time in this chair, the pad of my little finger got caught and severely pinched in the teeth, under the arm rest. On January 30, 2016 I purchased a Whirlpool washing machine from Home Depot along with the extended warranty. On January 10, 2020 my washer threw a F3, E1 Code. Called and put claim in. This was the 2nd time this code has shown up it had shown up in November but the appliance company was able to clear it. But this time there was no clearing it. The home is the worse place ever to buy granite countertops do not set yourself up do not buy from Home Depot the service and everything about it is terrible. You have to jump through so many hoops just to get anything about the countertop done. They outsource it to a company that's going to make you wait for to six weeks just to get an install date then you will be waiting

I put in an order for a door measurement on Jan 25, 2020. The measurement company that came to do the measurements was Balanced Property Solutions. I already put a review in for them... BPS came to my home and took care of the measurement on Feb 7, 2020. Seemed like it took a while but the associate at Home Depot told me that there was a new company taking care of measurements and not to expect the door to be installed for 3 weeks. Terribly run and managed store. They are not pro active about keeping products in stock even if the product is not sold by them. The employee attitude at this store is atrocious. When contacting corporate nothing is ever done to correct the situation because the problems continue. When sending them a email you get no response. The manager for this store should be fired.
