I have submitted an order to Home Depot in the middle of my renovation on April 2nd, 2020. They have been charging and crediting my account numerous times and have still yet to ship out the merchandise. My boyfriend and I ordered a grill, and Weber was having a deal where over a certain price, Home Depot would deliver and assemble for free. Home depot cancelled twice on us, and after waiting about 10 days, someone finally delivered a grill. To our disbelief, they delivered an incorrect grill. I don't know how BBB has them list as an A+. I have had several issues with them, over several years. You want to know how bad the service was. I am totally disgusted with Home Depot; they didn't notify me they couldn't deliver on the first 2 of 3 dates. I could deal with that BUT NOT what happened when they finally delivered. Although the service representative I spoke with was very kind and tried her best to help, the stores overall quality of service is lacking. The delivery options are unclear, and chaotic. I've been waiting over a week on delivery and have now been postponed for 3 additional days.
I give no stars for this company. I ordered 10 of the same items and the packages were lost in the mail. When the packages did arrive I was shorted 2 of the items. I have tried daily to call there customer service number and waited over an hour on hold. I emailed and got no response. I have more time invested than the product is worth, but it equivalent to stealing from your customers to fail to send what they order and refuse to have a way to contact the company. Star review for CARPET only for all Home Depot stores in Minnesota. If you don't mind waiting about 5 weeks for carpet installation now, don't go through Home Depot. Even though you pay the $50 for the measurement services, they won't tell you the availability for installation and definitely don't mention it. They still have signage saying that it can be installed within a week, which is essentially false advertising. We have a Home Depot Pro account and they have decided to have one entrance and one exit and I just found out that my workers are having to stand in line with homeowners in order to get their materials for our jobs that are considered essential. You really need to have two lines one for the pro's and one for the homeowners. We are paying our workers an hourly wage to stand in line to get the materials necessary to do our essential business. I don't think that is fair.
