We received an email after we finally received a case number for a greenhouse we ordered mid April to be delivered 5/5. This is AFTER the shipment was suppose to arrive and AFTER 4 hours yesterday to attempt to see what was happening. We were dropped several times after waiting over 30 minutes. Then to be told by the CS, Home Depot knows nothing and the shipment will get here when it gets here due to Covid. I have worked in logistics for over 20 years and find this outrageous. Store location: Bakersfield, CA Rosedale Highway Last week I called the pro desk and place an order for fencing and some supplies. I was told by the person on the phone it would be ready at 12:15, mind you this was at 10am in the morning. I wouldn't rate them one star if I had a Choice. I ordered a ceiling fan for my grandmother's birthday, paid for expedited delivery to be received May 1, 2020. I never received anything. I get an email May 1, saying that I would receive May 5, 2020, after my grandmother's birthday. Well after trying to call numerous times, waiting hrs on the phone, no one picks up. I ordered a window sash and paid for it. I was instructed to wait for a phone call when it arrived in the store. Was told it would take weeks. I received a call last Wednesday, and on Sunday I went to pick it up. After waiting 25 minutes I was told it was returned because I did not pick it up. I tried to reorder and that cost $12 more. Not even I am sorry. The excuse was we have been busy. I received only the one phone call. Make me want to go to ****** forever.

I have made purchases at the Home Depots locations throughout the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area over the last year. My in-store shopping experience is 100% satisfactory because I am able to go in and find exactly what I need to get my job done. They sold me something they didn't even have and then refused to give me my money back. I tried to make a purchase online - pick up in-store order. A couple of minutes after the order went through I received an additional email confirming that my order was canceled and that my refund had been issued and I would receive it in 3-5 business days. As both a landlord and home owner, my husband and I spend a good amount of time in home improvement stores. Our most recent service we received from Home Depot however, has caused them to lose any further business from us. We placed an order at the beginning of April for a washer and dryer set to be delivered to our new home on May 5th.
