Horrible service and price gouging this this severe time of need. I went to the Home Depot last Friday and purchased lumber to build a porch. As we built the porch we realized some of the lumber couldn't be used due to it being warped and cracked. I purchased 10' treated decking lumber at $5.77 a board. This purchase was last Thursday May 14th, 2020. I returned the wood and was given a refund on 5-18.2020. April 26th I purchased a chest freezer. It was supposed to be delivered tomorrow, May 18th. A few days ago I received a confirmation email stating the delivery date as May 18th again. Suddenly I get a message 2 days ago stating that my freezer was on back order and wouldn't get it until June 19. I called back and asked for a partial refund since this was their mess. I ordered a chest freezer to be delivered May 18th. They took my money and I never heard a word until it didn't show up today. I have a meat order being delivered Friday but now I am told there will be no freezer until the end of June. I spent over an hour being passed around to various "resolution specialist" just to be told how sorry everyone is. I won't be ordering from Home Depot again.

Their customer service is absolutely awful online got transferred 12 times and no one could answer my questions it is ridiculous they should not even have a customer service line if they can't help you and if they keep cutting you off and which I've done for 2 hours now it is ridiculous

I chose Home Depot because their warranty was better than the other roofers I had quote. But Home depot was 1 1/2 times the cost. I felt that they would do the best job. However they did the entire roof including a flat roof in the front of the house over a sun porch where we installed new oak floor. The roof leaked the first winter and damaged the floor. We filed a claim, got an estimate at Home Depot's request and sent it to the adjuster and have heard nothing about it in the past year. They promised to fix the leak and th... read more

I have had a problem with home depot since May 1st of 2020. I came to the store to look for a washer and dryer for Mother's Day and pick out the one for her now I usually don't deal with home depot for stuff like this because of your ratings and yes I read all reviews before purchasing anything from a store. So I purchased a washer and dryer from the home depot because she said she wanted it from there because it was close to home. I was very leary but that was where she wanted so I went. Home Depot Canada. It's been a month since I bought my item online. Why doesn't anyone answer phones....ever? Please don't bother with the disingenuous reply by providing a number to call, cause you and I know no one will be answering. You happily took my payment but provided no insight on tracking when it clearly states on your answering machine that you will give us a call within 72 hours if there is a problem with an order.
