This company does NOT CARE about its customers, in any way shape or form. I used to only purchase items from Home Depot but I will never set foot in their store again. You cannot get ahold of any person through the phone system... just routed and re-routed through an endless web of automated system. No matter what you choose... it is just more and more automated until you are finally hung up on. I ordered a large appliance online... with a delivery date of May 26th... here we are... no contact from them...no idea when the it... read more

I ordered two trees from the website. One was delivered, not even by home depot but another company that they used. I called that company. they said we only sent one tree and you will only be charged for one tree. Called Home depot because they charged me for two trees and asked for a refund of the tree they did not send or send me another tree to complete order. Then they claim they sent both trees and have not contacted the original supplier who would verify that only one tree was send. this is a horrible company. i should... read more

Worst experience trying to get a refrigerator installed. An employee made and error in creating a work order causing the install to be delayed a week, then another employee entered the work order incorrectly and delayed it another week. Hold times are insanely high, customer service is lacking, and process is beyond complicated. This experience has lead me to never do business with this company again.

absolutely horrible service; did damage to my wall almost 2 months ago, I have called and to no avail. they said they sourced it out to *******, called them. called the manager Allen at the Milford store and still not resolved sent 2 men out her to fix my wall 2 weeks ago, painted the wall white and my wall is a eggshell. I called them right away and they swore they would be right back out to make it right. called a week later and said they couldn't find the right color of paint and have not heard anything since. Chesapeake, Va 23321 - 5/25/2020 The Home Depot is comfortable selling items twice! They do not deserve 1 star! I purchased 2 prehung doors in store - gave them 2 days to pull because I was coming back to pick them up. There were 3 doors available at the time of my purchase. Needless to say - when I go back OVER 48 hours later - my purchase was not even pulled. The doors were no longer available because someone else came in and bought them! NOW I HAVE TO WAIT 72 hours for my money back on my debit card! SAME THING HAPPENED T... read more

I have been on hold with home depot for TWO HOURS and 30 mins!!! 45 mins in a women answered the phone saying she couldn't hear me and couldn't figure out how to turn up her phone!!! Told me she would put me on the fast track hold. Well it's been longer then the first time. It's a bad situation I feel like I can't give up because I have already invested two hours in trying to figure out where my order is. I wish I had read the reviews on here first. I'm a landlord with 25 houses within 5 minutes of Home Depot in brickyard Mall Chicago (1903) . My workers shop at Home Depot every single day since I live one hour away every purchase is always done with phone sale. Since the beginning of 2020 we have shopped close to $30,000 from this particular store. On May 17th my worker finally made it to the store after 45 minutes in line and spent another hour and a half picking everything he needs, over $600. Seriously, what the BLEEP is going on with this store andon line ordering. All the associates are using Covid as an excuse for blatantly lying and giving horrible service. Placed an order online through the Lethbridge store with a bunch of items that I was buying in store. It was promised to be delivered on May 13. Waited and nothing. No email notifying me to a delivery change. NOTHING. Called, was on hold for 2 hours and was told to fill out the contact form on line. Home Depot Canada. I have made numerous attempts to contact customer service regarding a billing error for an online order in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. The order was cancelled, however, the hold on my account has not been removed. Initially, the account was double-charged for the exact same order and only one of the charges was removed.
