I posted a product review for a Hampton Bay Umbrella and it was rejected by Home Depot because it mentioned a customer service issue. How does that work? You can only post positive reviews on their website? We purchased a beautiful patio umbrella; however, the parts wouldn't install correctly despite our best efforts. I received an email claiming that I picked up my order and my credit card is charged. The problem is, I did NOT pick it up. Contacting Home Depot is next to impossible, and when I tried to reply to the email, turns out this was an unmonitored mailbox. The reply however suggested I text Home Depot at XXXXX but when I did this, was informed that messaging services are suspended on the pretext of COVID-19. This store has caused me nothing but problems and money and they fail to respond to solve issues . Management is not good at all having ongoing problems for 13 months.

Recieve online order of s pressure washer and the wand was missing. After waiting an hour then bring hung up on, I got through the second time I called and waited an hour. I was told they are out of stock every where and the supplier is out for weeks. So I spent$400 on a machine I can't use for a month! I was told HDs are all out of stock also. Well I went to HD and what do I find? That's right the mythical wand! So I explain the issue to customer service and I still have to pay for the missing wand!! This is ridiculous

I purchased a Moen shower valve from Home Depot about a month ago and tried to make the repair myself, after several attempts I had to have it repaired by a plumber. I didn't use the part it was brand new in the box. I went to return it at the Home Depot store on 22nd Ave North in St Petersburg store number 257 and they refused the return. I was shocked because I provided the receipt, my drivers license and the part was brand new. Had the worst experience w Home Depots customer service... i wish I could give zero stars. l tried to call to price match a deck box I bought online, and on 4 different occasions I spent over 3 hours on hold ... only to be told I'd get a call back from a manager, which I never did. Then stores opened so I thought I could get help in person. Definately no luck with that. Waited an hour in person only to be told they can't do anything to help w online purchases. I ordered a patio table online and paid to have it shipped to my home. I received the email that said the table was shipped and then another email that said it was delivered. But it wasn't delivered to my home. Where it went I don't know. I called their customer service and was on hold for 48 minutes. Then was told that I would have to dispute this with my credit card company or with the store. Never once was I told they were sorry for my inconvenience or asked if they could send a new one out or even contact their delivery ... read more

Horrible customer service. Ordered online and status said it was shipped 6 days ago meanwhile UPS tracking number shows that UPS has not received the order yet. I called to find out where my order was at it was. I struggled to get thru to someone. I waited a few hours and called multiple times. When I finally talked to someone he put me on hold multiple times and I ended up getting cutoff. Very frustrating! I don't recommend ever ordering online from HomeDepot. Unfortunately, we didn't read these reviews before buying an appliance at this store, because now we have a refrigerator sitting in our garage that can't be installed for over a week. We called the store and were put on hold for over 90 minutes. Wasted our day trying to schedule a new installation time. Incompetent store staff, lazy installation crew, horrible experience. We will never shop at Home Depot again.
