I ordered a water heater online, and arranged for delivery and installation. The installation cost was shocking! At over 900$. For a 500$ tank. When the installers got here they wanted another 600$ bringing the total cost of 1500$ for installation!! I told them to leave immediately. What a scam!! Home depot should be ashamed to use the services of DRF. I will never use any of their installation services again and will warn anyone I can.

Several curbside pickup orders contained damaged items. I was told that home depot is putting damaged products in curbside orders to try to move the product since most people wont notice until they get home. Further, if you raise your voice on the phone they will screen your call and ignore you. When you complain at the store, you get sarcasm and fake apologies This is bait and switch followed by discrimination. Doesnt seem like they should have an A rating.

Giving one star because zero isn't an option. I placed an order. It was delayed indefinitely, so I cancelled the order. Three days later, Home Depot online attempted to charge my account anyway, knowing it was cancelled. This charge attempt placed a hold on my account that they said they couldn't remove. I ordered a kitchen appliance set ($3500) on April 22, 2020 and was given a delivery date of May 23, 2020. On May 20, 2020 I received an automated phone call stating my delivery was delayed due to back-order and would now take place on June 13, 2020. I , ****. applied for your 10% military widows discount at the Maryville TN Home Depot . I showed the lady all of my husband's papers and VA cards all the way down to WWII , where he fought as a p-51 fighter pilot. I am his 77 year old second wife and after losing his disability pension I am barely making it ...after 43 years of marriage . I ordered 16 fence panel 9 where damage i request for a signature so i can check the panels i went inside my home to get a pen the driver left my home with out me checking the delivery when i check I saw the damage panel I call the store I got the runaround come to find out the driver sign my name and left this is illegal this is fraud I will never shop at homedepot a gain bin shopping at home depot for 30 years never again
As with many, the 1 star is unfortunately the lowest you can go. I purchased a gas range on 4/14/2020 with an expected delivery date of 5/7/2020. Around 5/1, I received a call that it had been moved to 5/21 and then on 5/18, it was moved again to June 2nd. It was an automated message, so no real options to find out the reasoning was available. NEVER ORDER APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. They are a joke. I paid out right for my appliances (matching over the stove microwave, stove, fridge) in the beginning of MAY and I only have my stove. They decided to call and tell me the day BEFORE delivery on May 30th that my fridge is on back order until the 20th of June. WHY WOULD THEY LET ME ORDER IT AND PAY FOR IT IF IT WAS OUT OF STOCK!?!? I am a new home owner and needed materials that are necessary to move in (Windows and shower doors).
