Homedepot has refused to cancel an item (AC unit) or issue a refund that they have had out of stock for over three weeks now. Customer service said they would cancel the item and notify me by email they were doing so on multiple occasions, but this never occurred and I have had to call back multiple times asking for this to be done with no success. On 6/15/2020 I ordered a tool from Home depot on line for ho.e delivery. Promised delivery date was 6/25/2020. On 6/24 I checked tracking and home depot generated a shipping label on 6/20 but never mailed package. So here i am 10 days later asking if it shipped. I have spent hours on tbr phone waiting for customer service, just to have them hangup when they answer or say hold on for a minute and transfer me back to the start of the IVR. I bought a refrigerator from The Home Depot three years ago. I opted for the five-year protection plan because the coverage looked impressive. Yah, until I had to open up a claim last week. Today I callen to follow-up to.find out gheh cancelled everything without gelling me or refunding me the money. I have shopped at Home Depot for over 20 years. Never again. People don't have jobs right now but customer service via telephone could be manned by remote people. I have spent three hours today chasing up an order that was supposed to be delivered yesterday which was a $3000 order and another that is. $600 the response is would you like to cancel your order? Horrible in-store customer service wiped out the good customer service I got from the 800 line. Paid 79 dollars for express delivery of landscape edging which I ordered on June 3rd to be delivered June 15th. Got a call from the Danvers East store stating they don't have the items in stock? I asked how could they not have the items when I placed the order giving them almost two weeks to have enough stock to deliver. If I could rate no stars, I would. Our family first drove 30 minutes to Logansport for two 24 inch wide pantry cabinets. Kristen and customer service were very helpful locating the cabinets we needed (although at another location), helping us apply for a Home Depot card, getting online, ordering, and paying for said cabinets in order to guarantee we could pick them up ASAP.
