I spent 3.5 hours in the store picking out flowers and other lawn and garden accessories to use a promotion on my HD credit card for spending $299 or more interest free. When I got to the register in lawn and garden, I had only spent $160 and asked BRIANNA the cashier to suspend the transaction. She argued with me about it and told me they close at 9 (It was 6:30, and they closed at 8, mind you) and twice, she asked me to go ahead and purchase! Home Depot Orange, CT June 20, 2020 3:09 I purchased 1 gallon PPG white base paint and had it tinted. The next day when we opened it the tint had separated completely from the base paint. We stirred it ourselves and in a few hours the tint had again separated. The paint is obviously defective or old. I called Home Depot in Orange, CT to talk to the manager, Matthew ****** on June 26, 2020 but as he was unavailable I talked to the assistant manager Justin ******** Mr., ******* was arrogant and condescending, not very good... read more

Their customer service is non existent in solving my issue. We ordered a patio set with 4 chairs in ***. When delivered June 1st, one of the cartons containing 2 chairs was missing the hardware to assemble them. We have repeatedly called customer service, waiting as much as an hour each time to be able to speak to someone, finally getting a case number assigned, being assured the hardware was being shipped (was told they would give us a tracking number that never materialized) but here we sit with no hardware to assemble the... read more

Horrendous customer service. Everytime there is an issue with an order from their online service the excuse is the same "its a problem with our vendor and we can't do anything". As the company selling the product it is your responsibility to solve issues for the customer, not be some useless middleman who screws the customer. Staff on the phones are extremely rude, and condescending, very frustrating. They treat their customers like trash. Go to *****, much friendlier, and they actually care about the customer.

**Buyer Beware of Home Depot's 48 hour return policy on major appliances** We spent $1500 for a new washer and dryer on May 24th. We have still not been able to use it. It was delivered on the 4th. The delivery/installation guys plugged them in and hooked up the hoses. As they were walking out they said "Do a cycle without clothes then you can use it. It will balance it out." I ordered a freezer months ago and it had a 3-4 week delivery date scheduled. Of course they charge my credit card immediately. 3 days before my delivery date they had their contractor call and tell me it was out of stock and they rescheduled my delivery for an additional 6 weeks later. The day of the delivery they called 3 1/2 hours into my 4 hour delivery window to tell me the driver had a family emergency and they needed to reschedule for the next week. I will be cancelling my order.

Delivery has turned into Gilligan's Island....always seems to be in transit, sitting in the back of the pick up store!

Worst experience ever! I ordered online for home delivery a $1000 lawnmower for my husband for Father's Day 3 weeks in advance. Then I receive a call the day before it is to arrive that it is out of stock and my order is being cancelled. Then I waited on hold for hours to speak to someone resulting in my order supposedly being cancelled and refunded but I had to physically go to another store to purchase AGAIN to get it in time for Father's Day.
