I had the worst experience coming here. Not only did the staff displayed the worst customer service there is, but also me and my mom experienced racism that we never thought would happen to us here in Canada. We went to the store to ask for help locating some items because we are doing renos at home. These two employees of Home Depot surely does not have any customer service in them. Ordered $2,900 worth of new appliances from the Home Depot on June 4 to be delivered today. Received confirmation of the delivery date with a notice stating they would call the day before with a 4 hour delivery window. 11 am rolls around and no call, no email, no delivery. Called them and they stated they had and error. They have the merchandise locally but can't deliver for a week and do not allow pick up from the warehouse. So much for making things right. I went to pick up a mail order at the Washington, Utah store and when I picked up the item I told them I wanted to pay off my home depot card. Then a man came up pushed me away and they told me they would take care of him first and then I can pay off my card. When they got back to me I asked what was my balance and when told I gave them the money to pay off the account. I rarely leave reviews unless I feel strongly that I was treated unfairly. I went in to make a valid return (receipt for paint primer, not used/opened, less than 30 days of purchasing - i simply no longer needed it). Horrific customer service! ... I placed an online order for over 250bags of mulch and 20 bales of pine straw, payed $79 for delivery and had to wait a week for the first delivery slot. Fast forward to the scheduled delivery date: Home Depot made zero attempt to try and deliver the goods on the scheduled date (after I had taken a day off work as the provided delivery window was an entire day (6am-8pm)). On April 18, 2020 I ordered 3 patio bar stools from Home Depot located at Montée Paiement in Gatineau, Qc. As of today July 2, 2020 I have received no communication from Home Depot as to delivery of my chairs, other than confirmation of my order, which totaled $1027.88 tax included. My closed account has a thirty dollar credit and it is near impossible to get to a correct person to get a refund on this closed account. Also, when trying to reach home depot various phone numbers I finally reached a REAL person but, believe it or not they could not hear me. My only option was to end the call and try again. Now, after two hours of trying to reach a real person(which is almost impossible), I have decided to let the BBB know what is going on. Horrible service, First and last time ever buying from This place. Ordered 3 weeks ago day and ross lost my Patio set and I have to wait as Home depot whom I ordered from informs me it is my problem to deal with Day and Ross for hours on the line to find my product.Unacceptable.
