I purchased a Steve and Sons wood door from Home Depot Online. The entire experience with Steve and Sons doors was a nightmare. Though the warranty states, you need an overhang which is about 3 feet, I completed this a few months after I had a Home Depot approved contractor install it. After the first heavy rain, water got inside one of the panes and the door started warping. Again, this was after one month overhang or not. I ordered 5 brand new appliances for my new home from the Home Depot online in May 2020. The delivery date at the time of purchase online was mid June which lined up perfectly with the closing date on our home. After paying for the order the deliver date changed to Mid July. After two days of trying to get through to customer service on the phone and over 5+ hours on hold and 3 requests for a call back that never my husband finally got through to a real person. I ORDERED KITCHEN CABINETS JULY 12. TOLD 3 TO 4 WEEKS. HIRED A CONTRACTOR TO PREPARE KITCHEN FOR CABINETS. CALLED AFTER 4 WEEKS ( THEY WILL NEVER EVER CALL YOU BACK) AND TOLD ON A TRUCK ANYDAY NOW. Received damaged entertainment unit. Had to destroy box to remove heavy pieces one at a time. Simplihome the manufacturer told me they would replace piece but have waited almost four months. Home Depot will not replace or refund unless I find a seven foot long box and repackage this almost 100 pound item. I cannot since I am disabled. Therefore I am out $650. Don't purchase appliances from Home Depot. Ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot after completing a kitchen renovation. Purchased a stove and microwave from them and it was delivered with no issues during the pandemic. After New York opened back up, the delivery for the refrigerator was scheduled. The delivery people measured, said it would not fit, and gave me the option of having the refrigerator left on the curb or refuse the delivery. Purchased a new frost-free frigidaire in April 2020. the frost-free isn't working. Home depot's contract w/Frigidaire is extremely unreliable. Frigidaire is not supporting the warranty. I can't get a Frigidaire tech to come out to either repair it or to replace it.

Home Depot claims to have a low price guarantee. Below is the verbiage directly from their website about matching online prices. After ordering 4 appliances from Home Depot we asked the worker if we were able to set two delivery addresses. When the day came to deliver we were told they would to follow through. We ordered 2 sets of washer & dryers and have a note specifically written on the invoice stating the vendors special instructions. When calling to question this they said their workers should have explained that was not possible. When we were specifically told we could, in writing.
