I called Home Depot 800 number to return an online order. I spoke to Tenisha on the morning of Sunday, August 1st. She asked the order info, name and email but clearly had to ask the same question twice because she seems new. I asked if I could just do a customer drop off to a *** store since it's two blocks away and you can just leave packages there and walk out since I have an auto-immune disease and don't want to risk in a pandemic. Terrible customer service. I ordered a patio set for summer on Homedepot.com on July 12 with a delivery for July 29. Then they sent me an email that my order had been delayed 2 to 4 weeks. As I don't need a patio set in the fall, I called and asked for a refund, only to be told I could have a refund until it is delivered. So, I have $980 being held hostage by Home Depot, and no patio set. Ridiculous. ********* ****

I am very disappointed in Home Depot and its associates. I ordered a dishwasher with installation and take out of the old one on July 30, 2020. Not only did the installation crew fail to install a new dishwasher but also refused to take out the old one. They said they couldn't take out the old dishwasher because of an "elevated floor". They also told me that I have 30 days to return the dishwasher, but when I called the Store (located in Monroe, NY 10930; the associate working in appliances told me that there are no refunds ... read more

Purchased item on 7/27/2020 (WJXXXXXXXX). Instead of receiving a ready to pick up e-mail, I received an e-mail stating that I returned the item and that the return was complete. This is false! I never returned any item. Purchased same item on 7/29/2020 (WGXXXXXXXX). Never received e-mail. Called the online number who put me through to the store. Very very poor customer service! 3 months of waiting for a shed that had been ordered and paid for. After 6 weeks, 1/2 a shed is delivered!! Half a shed!! After Hours spent on line with their "customer service" with them saying they are "looking into" our issue and promising to call us back with a response. Still waiting.......no response no shed and no offer of a refund. They are telling us to return the 200lb box to the local store at our expense and try and get a refund at the local level?? They should be ashamed. How hard is it to deliver an item that you pay for? I placed an order on a Tuesday and it said it would be delivered the next day for $35! Why deal with the hassle of going to the store and stressing out - I'll just pay the $35. Wow that's a mistake! Wednesday rolls around and guess what... now delivery says Friday. Why? Oh one store didn't have it and now another store needs to deliver it. Ok fine. Friday. What's my delivery window... 7 am to 9 pm. Are you kidding me? I know we should be at home ... read more

An absolutely horrible delivery experience. I thought you would vet your delivery service people better. My mother bought a refrigerator in June that would not be delivered until July, which we understood because of the pandemic. The first scheduled delivery was a no call, no show. They just didn't come after we got the call the day before with scheduled date and time window. The second scheduled deliver was that Saturday. The drivers acted as if we were inconveniencing them. Home Depot its a major CON Artist. I ordered a set of Appliances Washer and Dryer. They get your money, promise a delivery date and a day before. I get an email let me know that appliances will be delivery 1 month later. Come on, you are playing with peoples efforts and sacrifices. We pay 3000.00 dollars and we need to wait more than 60 days. This is my last time that I buy a major product at Home Depot. You just lose one more customer and I will make sure that my story is heard.

Worse service I've ever had with new appliances. Spent $6,000 on 6 new LG appliances. One was sent back at delivery because of dent; of the 5 remaining, only 3 are operational. Delivery took place on 8 July and here I sit on 29 July having not received the replacement microwave and getting total run around on fixing or replacing the dryer and dishwasher. Do not even deserve one star as I've tried to do it the way they said and after calling and talking for 12 hours on about 7 different phone numbers that all usually go back ... read more
