Bought a dryer online to replace the former model. I have more than one issue with what happened. First, hoses, duct and power cord were automatically added to the cart for approximately 75.00. Haul away was added for 25.00. Upon arrival I was informed they would not install the dryer on top of the pedestal. I wish at that point I would have told them to take the dryer back and refund my money, but I felt intimated to do so as the delivery men were not concerned. I have registered with Home Depot as a Vet. This is a discount that they post they offer. Thank you for offering this for our Vets. I am a small farmer and have an Ag Exemption issued by the state for tax exempt. My issue is, Home Depot thinks this is a discount, not a right. Therefor they do not honor both at the same time. I see many customers reviewed the store as bad. That is the case where I am going against the public opinion of majority. I don't know company in the US with better customer service than Home Depot. Of course, there are some disadvantages. There are bad and sometimes even rude employees (mostly novices). However most of my visits to this store were more than great. We ordered an online tiller, and tried to apply a coupon worth $75, was told by 2 managers that it was not a problem, just come into store when it arrives and they would reissue invoice with coupon included. We went to pick up tiller and told that was not possible, and to call the online office and they would credit my card. We called and were told that also was not possible, but they were very sorry the store in Bastrop told us that. This product arrived broken, a LEMON, a Nature's solar generator. I ordered this online, and went out of town. My understanding was that Home Depot had 90-day return policy. I didn't know that this specific product has only a 30-day return policy. Due to CV-19, my return home got delayed. So, I asked my husband to open the box. The product DID NOT WORK, a lemon. On Aug 30 2020 I placed an order number WGXXXXXXXX for a GE microwave and extended warranty. It was scheduled to be delivered on Sept 10. On Sept 9 at 3pm i found out that your delivery contractor was not able to make the delivery and I was rescheduled for Sept 18. No explanation was given as to why. Normally I've had not negative experiences with this company, but recently I did and it was enough to make me not want to shop there again. I will state, to begin, that most of their customer service reps / employees have been very kind, professional and helpful (both online and over the phone). We needed a new kitchen faucet and we decided to get one from Home Depot simply because we had a $100 gift card from there to use. Bought windows from Home Depot with a warranty. My son's bedroom window was broken because of a golf ball, we live right near a golf course. I've been given the run around on when to expect my replacements. I've been waiting close to over a month. Every time I call I'm told the replacement windows have been ordered and are on their way.
