We ordered a washer/dryer from Home Depot in July 18th, 2020 for delivery to our new home on August 28th. I got an email the 27th that it was rescheduled for September 11th due to covid. Ok. That's fine. Got another email September 10th that it was rescheduled to September 22nd. Then got a phone call from Samsung that they don't make that washer dryer anymore. I purchased an air conditioner and 3 ft. Bury Depth Frost-Proof Yard Hydrant on 6/18/2020. I was asked if I wanted to save by getting a credit card. I decided to apply and they rang my purchases up. I then told them I wanted to pay for my purchases at that time. Apparently instead of letting me pay on the credit, which I have done at other stores, they rang the purchases up again and I paid cash. I have the receipt. We recently purchased a new door and windows through Home Depot over the last year and have not been satisfied at all with the installation and or products. The new vinyl door we installed has already started to fade colors even though we were told it would not and the delay in getting the door installed was beyond frustrating. if not for the manager, Bobett - i would have been a seriously unsatisfied Home Depot customer. I ordered curbside pick-up online and was told by text, two of the items i needed were being shipped from different parts of California and would not see one of thise items for a week. i was moving and i needed those shipping items. Very long story shortened: one item was said to have been dropped off at my home. it was not. Bobett made it right. Good service is always memorable. Thank you Bobett!

I've been a Home Depot customer for years, but I recently had a harrowing experience buying a new gas dryer from HomeDepot.com. About a month ago, I placed an online order while talking to a Home Depot associate on the phone. The associate told me that the installation was included in my purchase, and that the people bringing the new dryer would remove the old dryer, install the new one, and haul away the old one. We bought almost $3,000 in a full set of appliances at The Home Depot Tukwila, WA on July 2nd. The store scheduled the delivery to 8/18 - more than 1 month after the purchase. Products were delivered after the promised date. The dishwasher was damaged and the exchange and installation were set for yesterday 9/23. The product arrived but they just threw it in my living room and said that they are not scheduled to remove the old one, besides, to do not have any installation information. Twice I was told Home Depot would deliver my oven and I've paid $4,500 for it. Twice they never showed up or even called. I received an email and recorded message both times stating when they will deliver it but they never did. I spoke to the shipping company and they said it was on the truck to be delivered both times but it was never delivered. What is going on??? Have I been scammed?

What you see is what you get, if you can't see it there's no telling whether it's going to be as you expect. For example I purchased something on sale on line for delivery because it was marked as available at the nearby location and the website allowed me to purchase it but as the day of delivery approaches I'm finding out too late that my home appliances are on back order. So I won't be able to move on time. Don't trust online delivery times, and don't trust them to tell you early when something is on back order. The perso... read more

I just hung up the phone with Home Depot after calling twice because the first customer service rep transferred me to Maytag to resolve their problem of delivering a damaged refrigerator to my home. So imagine having all your food, barely still good after 5 days in a failing fridge, in coolers on ice. The delivery people say they will call and get a replacement tomorrow. They don't mention they are allowed to leave the damaged one here as a loaner until a new one can be delivered. I find this out from the first cust service ... read more
