Not happy with the 11% rebates that Home Depot is running to compete against Menards. I have submitted several rebate forms, and when I get the gift card it is for 25% of what I submitted Turns out, most of the items they sell do NOT qualify for the 11% rebates. You have to go to their website and scroll down to the button and look at a document that is about 100 pages long, with no way to look up the items. No thanks, Home Depot, it's back to Menards where they give you 11% on EVERYTHING- NO strings attached.
Store N Phoenix #401 You most definitely did not nail it. this was the worst customer experience I ever had, this *** be the last time I shop at home depot. Sigh, we paid 20,000.00 for a new roof 2 years ago from home depot. We went with them for obvious reasons as well as the 50 year guarantee on the installation. Well here we are TWO years later and the corner of our house has rotting wood. We called a contractor to get a quote on fixing the damage, and come to find out that the damage is due to the fact that the roofers at home depot did not install flashing on the roof which is supposed to protect the wood from the weather. Installation of dish washer went bad and I had $15,000 in damages. Delivery Service company ******* and it's subsidiary company ******* Express wouldn't help at all in damages.
One star is generous! I'm never shopping at Home Depot again! We ordered new kitchen cabinets in June. When we received them at the end of August, half of them were either damaged or missing! The next delivery contained a drawer that wouldn't pull out and another with cockeyed doors. After 4 more weeks of waiting for the replacement cabinets, I finally told them to come get the cabinets they delivered and asked for a refund. Ordered 2 sheds, and a month later only have 1. All tracking info is garbage: sheds were being shown as pending delivery, then it switched to both delivered on a day when no delivery was made (one 10/08 and one 10/12, when I received only 1 and it was on 10/10). The one shed that was actually delivered was dumped from a truck onto my driveway entrance, while the delivery was to be made under covered porch (which I have). This has been the most pitiful customer service and product "delivery" I've ever experienced in my life. I purchased an appliance suite from The Home Depot in may of 2020. Delivery date was set for the end of June (COVID impacted delivery, which I understand.) I do realize they use a third party delivery company, however the utilization of a third party delivery does not take responsibility off of the company providing the product. I got conformation that the order had been delivered and signed for, But it was not signed for by anyone I knew and was delivered to the wrong address. I just purchased my first home and bought a washer and dryer unit from home depot with delivery and installation. The first time they came to deliver, the delivery guys took dimensions in my stairway and everything was good until I inspected the unit and it was completely dented in the front. I refused the delivery and they scheduled a redelivery a week later.
