10/31/2020 which was a Saturday I was trying to make a purchase online because it was the last day they had a certain sale going on, while I was doing that it showed me that I could apply for a Home Depot credit card and save 100 dollars on my purchase, I ended up applying and I was approved but when it came to finalize my purchase it did not let me allow use the Home Depot Credit Card, in which they wanted the act card number and Cvv which at the moment of course I didn't have because I had just applied for the card. Never Never purchase carpet from this company!! Took two weeks for a measure ! we choose carpet that came 15 wide so no seams when the quote came he quoted 12 wide after calling to change the order had to wait 3 weeks for install only to be told when it came in it was the wrong size the day before the install date waited a week for new carpet the day of install was told the installer was sick but rescheduled for the next day never showed up !! I purchased a dryer, a washing machine, a dishwasher with 5 year extended warranties almost 5 years ago. The washing machine stopped working. While still under warranty I contacted Home Depot to get it repaired. They sent someone to repair it. He said it was fixed and left. It still does not work and he is refusing to fix it. He asked me to make a new request. I said you haven't corrected it. I need this fixed now I am 76 and raising my 2 grandchilden! One of these is Autistic and I only want the warranty I bought. Purchased an extended warranty on my fridge in November 2019. On 10/27/20 my fridge temp started going from 34 to 59 degrees. Lost lots of food items. I've been trying since 10/27/20 to get Home Depot to fix it. As of today at 4 pm they still haven't fixed it. Saying they can't find a service company to fix it. Will be a week tomorrow with no fridge. Many many calls to Home Depot and no help. Just we are trying to find a service company.someone will call within 3 days. Not caters to veterans family Went with my mom to home depot to pick up some supplies for the new house whick is very convenient to our new place. Get to the register andy mom asked for veterans discount since her husband is a disabled veteran he chose not to come with us. Now we are living in the 21st century right? They won't honor the discount because they're last nes don't match up. Are you for real with this. Just because names don't match? You need us to take a disabled veteran in person to verify? I've been shopping at both ****** and Home Depot for over 20 years. Almost every other time I go to Home Depot showing them my driver's license that states I'm a veteran in the Marine Corps on it or showing them my VA card they tell me that I cannot get the military discount. As of today November 1st 2020 spending anywhere between 15 and $30,000 a year I will never ever shop at Home Depot again

I have always in the past 20 years had the best customer service. I'm also furious that certain people are boycotting Home Depot because the co-founder is for Trump. What hogwash. Now I plan on shopping at Home Depot more than ever. We all live in the Free World. Yes, that means free speech. Isn't that wonderful, but not to a degree that you want to down a company and their employees because the founder differs from your own personal ideals. This is called America. **** ********

False advertising of delivery saftey We had a refrigerator delivered on oct 30th. The experience had no relationship to their fancy "safe delivery video". The driver approached me with no mask and when asked said non were in his truck. He then enforced me that no shoe covered would be used to protect our floors despite the rain outside. As the delivery progressed they put items on our counters and never cleaned touch points as the video claims. There was also no touch free receipt. Instead I had to use his clip board. Wh... read more
