I had my basement family room and bedroom measurements for carpet processed by a contractor the Home Depot hired. The Home Depot is located on Ford Road in Canton, Michigan. The guy that came out took pictures and measurements. Not once did he say there was a problem. I placed an order for home delivery of some garden products totaling $63.50 with home delivery. The products were delivered within a couple of days in excellent condition. The charge was to my non-home depot credit card for order# WGXXXXXXXX on 10/30. My next credit card statement listed this charge twice, once for HD store #6346 (refXXXXXXXn309fx9kky) for the full amount and one for HD 2705 Redford MI (refXXXXXXXn109fe1aky) also for the full amount. Worst place in the country to buy large appliances! Sept 30, 2020 was the purchase date. The refrigerator was delivered scratched. They said I could keep it for good, or keep it until another one could be delivered. I needed to have a fridge, so I accepted the latter. Most inconvenient not wanting to take off all the blue tape and film. I only used part of it. The ice maker wasn't hooked up. Terrible experience! Home Depot came out and measured my windows to be installed. The first schedule was cancelled by Bret windows Install manager St Louis, MO. He called and blantantly lied to me, then when asking him hard questions, he cussed at me. Ask for his supervisor he said "that is not going to happen." Found his manager Steven *******. Placed an order Labor Day weekend for 6 appliances (yes 6) and received a delivery date. A few weeks later I received an email stating that my date had been changed to 11/28 (Yeap after Thanksgiving) I accepted didn't call and complain just made the best out of it but here we are 3 days before delivery and I get a call to tell me I won't be getting my appliances because they don't have the oven. Never buy appliances from the Home Depot, not only did my washer and dryer arrive 6 weeks following the 6 week wait time, it also arrived scratched. I was told when I reached out at the 6 week mark by one of their over the phone employees that once I do receive my unit to call back and request compensation for the 6 week delay and they will gladly do so. We ordered carpet on October 23 from Home DEPOT. We chose to buy from them because they had signs posted that carpet would be installed within 7 days. As of today it has been almost 5 weeks with no help from them. We have called 3 times and went in person once to talk to Kelly. All she can tell us is that she will shoot an email to the installers and they will contact us. Today is November 24 and still no response from the installers or Home Depot.
I am writing my 1st star review. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. I try very hard to provide only 5 star reviews because I know important they are. I purchased three Samsung appliances that were delivered 11/20/20. Also purchased extended warranty. The dryer worked for 3 days. Called store at Fairlawn, Oh. Cut off twice. Finally spoke with someone on mgmt team? Who told me I would have to contact Samsung. Two hours later on Samsung sit, scheduled an appt for 11/28/20.
