We bought a refrigerator from The Home Depot. 2 months before our extended warranty that we purchased was to expire on November 23, 2020. The refrigerator started frosting up on September 8, 2020 and I finally contacted The Home Depot customer service to get it fixed. It was September 23rd before someone came out to check it. We ordered a Frigidaire fridge from Home Depot on October 22, 2020. It was delivered on November 6, 2020. The delivery people were extremely disappointing, as compared to the delivery that we experienced with our previous fridge purchase from Home Depot about 5 years ago. Even though I paid for setup, they refused to reverse the doors, in spite of the fact that they had to remove them to get the fridge in the house. Home Depot has lost yet another customer. I bought a refrigerator in September, and had to wait until December for delivery. I can accept that with the pandemic. Today (the day of the scheduled delivery) I get a phone call from RAS, look up their reviews, that they can not make the delivery because the truck broke down (repetitious problem). Home depot has cut staff so dramatically that trying to get assistance is an hours long experience. To top it off, they could just as well disconnect their phones, no one will answer anyway, if they do, they will direct you to the wrong department or disconnect completely (had happened MANY times.) I will never ever again order something from Home Depot to be delivered, nor will I buy anything from Home Depot again. The delivery contractor Home Depot uses is unbelievably terrible. I waited for 8 hours yesterday for something to be delivered only to find out the delivery driver came at 9am and left a "sorry we missed you" sticker on my door. HD just seems to get worse each year, I dont even know why we have an HD credit card. Our wash machine is starting to go so we were desparate but we all know that the newer washer technology is vrey shaky so we had to do some quick research. We figure LG is a safe bet. On September 26th of this year, my wife and I visited the Home Depot at 901 South Elgin in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While there, we purchased a new LG refrigerator. The refrigerator was to be delivered to our home in Tulsa on December 2, 2020. The total cost of everything: $ 898.17. On Dec. 2, the delivery service (Linn Star Transfer) calls to say they will arrive in 20 minutes. Great.
