I ordered a dishwasher online and paid for it to be installed. When the delivery driver showed up he started to uninstall my old dishwasher. He then told me that he couldn't do it because there was a lip on the floor. He said that he could leave the new dishwasher but that was it. I said let me call my wife and see what she thinks. Home Depot's customer service is so terrible that I cannot find any words to describe it. First time I ordered a washer and dryer the technician did not install it and cancelled the whole order without my approval. I exactly know why and how he did it. My wife is not a native English speaker so it is obvious that the delivery employee tried to take advantage of this situation and they did. On 11/27/2020, I placed an online order for pick up at the Kenai, AK Home Depot for a Toro snow blower. Hours later on I received a phone call from a female store employee telling me that she had to refund me for my snow blower. I asked why and she told me that the snow blower was had a falty starter. I asked her why couldn't she sell me one of the other snow blowers. She told me that they were all faulty. We ordered a Christmas tree and were SO excited when it was delivered (especially my teenager who has been hit hard with depression as a result of all the Covid shutdowns). Our Whirlpool dishwasher quit working after four years. We purchased a Samsung dishwasher online from Home Depot. The contract promised installation and we paid Home Depot extra for hauling away the old one. After waiting an additional eight days past the originally promised delivery date, the new dishwasher was delivered. Home Depot's website contains intentionally misleading information, and their order policies are designed to scam customers out of their money. Customer service is not equipped to handle issues, and administration is unavailable. This company is dishonest and unreputable.
My husband and I went to the Durbin Park Home Depot in Saint Augustine to order VINYL FLOORING for the UPSTAIRS of our NEW TOLL BROTHERS HOUSE. WE TOOK A SAMPLE of our Furniture Wood Color Cherry wood with us and found a DARK TEXAS OAK color that blended great with our furniture. We will never buy another appliance from Home Depot again! We recently bought a new washer and dryer. There was a problem with the washer that we reported after one day of ownership. Long story short we have had to set up an appointment for a GE technician to come out and look at our brand new washer to see if it can be fixed. If not, it will be replaced.
