Home depot credit services are thieves. Deferred interest was not fulfilled as promised, being that my statement reflected interest deferred date. I have closed my account with them. Please don't be tricked into opening a credit card with home depot. Don't trust their business.

I ordered a Side by Side Fridge and Freezer on Dec. 28, 2020 and was told it would deliver on Jan. 5, 2021. It arrived damaged and the first crew did not wait for me to call, Just loaded it up and left. 2nd delivery date was to be Jan. 13, 2021 but it did not make it on the truck so I had to wait another day. When it finally arrived I was told it could not be installed due to me having copper lines. Was refunded $150.00 of which I had to pay $100.00 to a plumber to install. DO NOT EVER order appliances from Home Depot unless you can walk out the door with them. Ordered in October 2020, found out early January 2021 that they actually had NOT ordered the fridge (their explanations up that point was that it was "back ordered". Four hours of dealing with Head Office and only resolution was refund of our money...and we got the fridge and deepfreeze from Trail the next day. Even had a Home Depot Customer Service Agent tell us to "Go buy them at the Brick"!
My credit card was charged by Home Depot store 2705 (12100 Inkster Rd Redford, MI XXXXX) on 10/30/2020. I did not make a purchase at this Home Depot, I am located in Utah. I did not make any purchases on homedepot.com either. Now researching this address, the Home Depot store is closed and the building is currently for sale/lease. Home Depot did nothing to help me with this. My credit card company was not able to issue a refund since they show that there was a chip read on my card at this bogus address.

Over the last year I did a complete remodel on my parents 60 year old house. I purchased 90% of supplies and furnishings from HOME DEPOT. There were a few hick ups along the way as to be expected with a project this big and in the middle of a pandemic mind you. I ordered flooring/installation (4th time through Home Depot for a flooring project) first they use Cooper Installation services who is AWFUL. First issue is they didn't show up (i had taken day off work and moved all furniture out) so then i had to reschedule several days later. Then the crew finally shows up and throws a roll of carpet up against my window, breaking my window treatments. I placed an online order on October 27, 2020. I bought this as a birthday gift for December 15th. I was notified that it shipped on October 28th and would arrive to my home on November 3rd. On November 3rd I received an alert that it was delayed and would be delivered on November 30th. Ended up rescheduling and shipment is supposed to come today. Not bad but I would not mess with the Detroit Homedepot. Homedepot as a whole is ok if its not in an underdeveloped area.
