Called the Tool Rental store before I Drove from over an hour away (as the website says to do) and told them I was coming for an item they had for sale. (Item is still currently online as I'm typing this) Got here and they said "sorry we sold it, I don't know what you expect us to do" Poor customer service and communication.
We will NEVER shop at a Home Depot again. Service is abysmal. Not only are there never enough employees to help with questions that we *** have, but appliance deliveries are a nightmare. When you go onto a HD website the first rhing that comes up is the request for your thoughts in survey form. HD had some credibility, but they lost it after I filled out the survey. Upon completing tthe survey, they said that I qualified for a "free gift", if I paid the freight on my credit card. It's now Friday morning, January 29th, I have been waiting for my $2000 shingle and felt paper order since Tuesday, January 26th, when the website stated it would be delivered when I first ordered. So far only excuses, no order. I spoke to Nikki this morning at store 0809, Sylacauga, AL, and she has been the most helpful so far. I would like to give zero stars if I could. I purchased a Gas Stove Oven around black Friday 2020. This gas stove oven is shipped to MA and I'm living in NJ/NY. The Home Depot/GE delivered the damaged Gas Stovetop to MA on Dec 7th, 2020. They promised that they will bring a new one back in the same week, but afterwise they said is out-of-stock and need to wait until Jan 8th, 2021. We purchased a stove on black Friday, and were told we would have to wait a month due to covid 19. On January 19, the stove was finally delivered. It had been grossly damaged during shipping. The moving company hired by home depot told us to contact the retailer and they would be both able and willing to send us another stove within 24h to replace the old one (which they were also taking with them, leaving us temporarily stoveless). Do not buy blinds for your windows from Home Depot. They contract with a 3rd party and will not service your blinds if you have a problem. I purchased blinds from them and found out later my blinds were incorrectly installed. The company that made the blinds went out of business and the company that installed them no longer contracts with Home Depot. After 5 months of dealing with them and a manager they will not help me. On Sunday Jan 24th, I placed a $2047 order for shingles and felt paper. I used the Oxford AL store selector because their inventory showed the product was in stock and they are closest to me. The information on the order stated the delivery would be made on Tuesday, January 26th. I have the email to prove it. That was the only email I received. I placed an online order for a pre-hung front door at the beginning of December 2020. It was supposed to be delivered the beginning of January 2021. I received an email stating it was delayed. Three weeks later I received a shipping notice. The next day I went in to track the shipping and it stated the order was canceled.
