Home depot has 2 policies that are pretty terrible in my opinion: 1. Home depot will not deliver appliances until all appliances ordered together are in stock. 2. How depot will not refund money for appliances until the appliances are at the warehouse. I ordered a fridge, microwave, washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher on Nov 25, 2020. The excepted delivery date was 12/18/2020. This was pushed back to 12/23. This was pushed back to 1/6/2021. At this point I asked what the holdup was. Dropped off a Milwaukee tool that I had purchased less than a year ago in April to get warrantied. It did not work when it was in cold weather so I brought it in from the cold to show them. After it warms up it starts working. The man at the tool center supposedly wrote all this down, but 6 weeks later they called and said it would not act up. As a business owner that works directly with more than 40 vendors, my experience with the home depot revolving credit card has proved to be deceptive, and nothing short of criminal. The first time I enrolled was 10-15 years ago and I quickly found issues so I paid it off and closed the account. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a gas range as a gift for my in-laws. It arrived damaged. Trying to get it replaced turned into a total nightmare with all their customer and appliance service departments. 9 plus hours of being on hold, multiple dropped calls, refusal to accept responsibility for the product that clearly was damaged by a forklift prior to arrival, several broken promises by customer care to call us back with a resolution. I ordered my new interior doors through my local Home Depot back on September 5, 2020 and they are still not installed. They came out and measured things fine, even the store and the multiple contractors that have been out have confirmed this. The first time that the contractor came out to install the doors the 2 bedroom doors were too damaged to install and were the wrong size. I purchased a GE Range Hood from. Home Depot on November 5, 2020. I was told that it would be delivered by late November 2020. A few days before the scheduled deliver date I received notification that the it was on back order and that I now had to wait until January 29, 2021. I took it upon myself to call and confirm the order was on track for the delivery date because Home Depot website states the delivery is still on schedule. I went to the Home Depot in Mesquite TX by 635. I had an excellent experience. I had to pickup MANY items. I spoke with Stan who told me where to find a plumbing cartridge I needed. I was walking up another isle and saw Stan again, I asked him where the light bulbs were he told me and since it was a speciality bulb he met me over there. He helped me again. Stan really helped me !! I really appreciate his knowledge and friendliness.

Bought a dishwasher from HD with an extended warranty. The run around between HD / protect and whirlpool along with countless hours on hold waiting to speak with an agent. No shows by repairmen. I still don't have my dishwasher repaired. Do not buy any appliance from HD and expect for them to support their warranty. You are on your own.
