About 2 weeks ago, I purchased a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Almost 5,500. The delivery was to be on Tuesday April 6th. Got a call saying the refrigerator was to be delivered a day early. So what kind of a place, that is in the business of selling construction and home improvement items, would retain employees who as a customer asks a question is told they can't be helped. So I was looking for paver sand. I needed about 20 bags. There were only 4 bags and they were all ripped. I urge everyone not to shop at Home Depot. We ordered a fridge, specifically asked if their delivery times were correct due to covid. The guy assured us they were correct. Delivery day comes, we even get updates our fridge is on the truck. No delivery. So we cancel the order and say forget it. Home Depot looks into it, fridge was lost somehow. They order another one. To All Those Thinking about Purchasing a hot water heater through the Home Depot, Think On This, please! The natural gas company, (If you purchase a hot water heater that uses natural gas; either tank or tankless), offers a product rebate on new or energy efficient hot water heaters and other appliances. However, Home Depot of Gurnee IL uses their preferred plumbers - **** which is not approved by North Shore Gas, my gas company in Lake County IL. THEREFORE, No Rebate. FYI. Humbly, ****** P **** IL
I placed an order with Home Depot for 150 bags of compost [75 steer + 75 chicken] Over a week ago. I also ordered some plants, seeds, and chicken wire. All of the other items arrived to me. However, today I received a notice that the 75 chicken manure compost bags was canceled. Note that they had over 1800 bags according to their website just last week. Ordered a shed through Home Depot. Took two months to get install date. No call no show the first time. Then tried to call to see what was going on. Nobody could tell us. Then was told they rescheduled for Saturday without informing us of this change. So after taking an entire day off work and nobody showed both times!!!! Then rescheduled for the next Friday. I received a 10% off coupon in the mail to use if I used my HD credit card. I went to the store and purchased $400 worth of merchandise. Ar check out they said that they couldn't take the coupon because it wasn't valid for another two days. I went ahead and purchased the merchandise. When I got home I called their customer service number. They gave me the run around and transferred me to credit card service where I got the run around again. Won't waste my time or money on another coupon scam

I purchased a stove and refrigerator and they provided me with a date of drop off date set March 12th. I purchased the refrigerator and stove in February and the date came to receive my items and I just got a notification that the date changed I did not end up getting my items until April.
