Tried to buy a Rheem Gladiator water heater from Home Depot. The model itself got great reviewseven Bob Vila recommends itso tried to get me one. Initiated purchase and delivery install from Home Depot in early January. Set up a "my install" page and everything. Before they can order, ship and so forth you have to have a consult with their sub-contracted local installer, who was to call me right away and we'd go from there. 4 weeks later, still no call. ****** I ordered a Troy-Bilt riding mower on April 6, no where on the order did it say that it would take 3 or 4 weeks for it to be delivered. It is now April 17 Home Depot has my money and I have no riding mower. Buyer beware if you order something on Home Depot's website it may take a long time to receive what you need.

I had received an email from Joe at the local Eagan, MN store saying if I had question about my new countertop order to stop by. So I stopped over to ask him some questions and make the payment to start the process of counter top replacement at 12. on 4/14/21. Ordered an $800 bathtub in February and the delivery date was 3/25/2021... well 8 days past the delivery date I FOLLOW UP WITH HOME DEPOT! No tub. It took 2 days and SEVERAL phone calls and complaints on my part for them to locate my bathtub that was 6hrs away in Perris, Ca.... they deemed it LOST. HOW DO YOU LOSE A BATHTUB?!? So they offer me and insulting number for compensation. Mind you, I have to now push back my bathroom remodel that was set for 4/6/21... finally got a decent compensation amount and had them reorder th... read more

I ordered several bags of garden soil for delivery I got an emailed receipt. What I meant to do was order top soil. I called the 1800! Number to change my order and waited for over 30 minutes and then was hung up on. I called the north port store and they got someone to cancel my order. I received no email confirmation so then I had to look up my order. This is by far the worse customer service I have ever experienced. We bought a dishwasher, connector pieces, garbage disposal, plus haul away fee in January 2021, purchased online- rep said it would be installed... items dropped off January 7th- we were told call for pick up of old appliance once installed Due juggle plumber appointment by a week- then covid badly (!!) in our house the next few weeks- then plumber Sick with covid- etc - took awhile to get installed (finally!)... Today- Home Depot refused haul away, said 30 day max - that was nowhere in writing or on the website or spoken ... read more

Earlier i gave bad rating. I was not happy with the way homedepot communicate with customers but installation of carpet was not done yet. Now I give home depot installation team 5 stars for doing a great job. Very professional, efficient, courteous. We all are happy with new carpet. ...Hope the vynal installation , in a week, will be as good. Thanks home depot.

I have NEVER had such terrible customer service! I have been on hold for over 50 minutes! I called from another line, and that person hung up on me! All I wanted to do was allow my dad to pick up my order! I think I will cancel my order!!!

Placed an order online using a gift card. Got notified that my order was cancelled because the item was out-of-stock. 3 days later trying to place an online order only to find out that gift card balance isn't refunded. Called customer service and found out that I have to come in to the store to receive a refund in store credit. No one notified me that the refund couldn't be processed unless I come in to the store, in any form of communications.
