This is written because I am getting zero resolution from the local Home Depot store at 2250 Southgate Rd Colorado Springs CO 80906. I ordered an item on Feb 4 2021 that was shipped to store and tracking showed delivered on Feb 25 so I call and check on it and store said it would be delivered by 3/15 so I waited. Nothing changed so I contacted store on 3/17 and it was deemed lost and reordered. My experience with Home Depot has been less than desirable! On April 4, 2021 I purchased a washer and dryer from the Oxon Hill, Maryland location. The staff in the appliance department scheduled my delivery date for April 8, 2021. The morning of April 8, 2021, I got a call from Home Depot saying that they had the washer but not the dryer in their possession, and as a result my delivery date had to be rescheduled. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE SHIP TO STORE. I order a closet system in December 20. THEY SENT THE WRONG COLOR FOR ONE OF THE UNITS. They won't allow you to return to the store where you ordered it. They sent a UPS pick-up, to my home address, not the address in another state were shelves are located. I then had to pick up 4 heavy, long boxes and bring home only to have ups refuse the pick up because I didn't receive a label for every box but only 1 label. I Placed an order on their website for some fencing with delivery. They have a 48 hour response time to place deliveries. After 2 days i was told i would be put in the books for the following Saturday and didn't hear back for 3 days. so when i called them for a follow-up they said i was not scheduled and i would have to speak to a manager to schedule a delivery. I really bad experience with its online shopping service. I ordered a mower on Apr 18, intending to pick it up at the Strongsville OH store today (Apr 19, 2021) because the Home Depot website says it takes a few hours for an order to be ready for pick-up. I need to mow my lawn for the first time this year TODAY because it will start to rain heavily about 9pm tonight (Tuesday) and it will continue to tomorrow (Wednesday). I would like to tell you about my new Makita string trimmer, but nobody seems to know what happened to it. I purchased it online and have paid for it already. I chose ship to store, hopefully to avoid any damages during shipping, instead of shipping to my home (last item, HONDA push mower, was damaged when I shipped to home). Home Depot is horrible when it comes to customer service. I placed a large $3k order for patio furniture over 3 weeks ago. The furniture was in stock and I still don't have it. I've been given 3 different shipment dates only to receive an email the day afterwards tell me that there's a delay that could be up to 5 days. Wait the five days, calling their customer service department in between notices to be given another date......and they don't make that date.
